- In the second video of many I have planned for the Los Santos Summer Special DLC, I try my best to recreate Dominic Toretto's / Vin Diesel's iconic 1969 Dodge Daytona from Fast and Furious 6. Using the new Bravado Gauntlet Classic Custom (after the Benny's upgrade), I detail every part you guys should use to create the most accurate replica of Dom's Daytona.

i was thinking the same thing why use the gauntlet classic instead of the dukes it would've made sense,a lot of people were also comparing it to the imponte phoenix but that wouldn't make sense either since its based on a Pontiac fire bird trans am.

Hey for the rims, you can try some of the “Street” options because like the real car, they are deep dished 5 spokes
Yeah that's another option, mentioned that at the end of the video but I decided against them because you can't get them in chrome.
In Benny original rims go to spindles they look like the ones in the pic

Yup, that was the closest we could get beforehand, mainly because the Pheonix has the huge spoiler.

I just got around to building this car . Took advantage of Bennys discounts this week. I compared your picks with car photos and its pretty spot on. I did go with the EG chrome rims but otherwise I built it to your specs.

Thank you man! But yeah, up to this point unfortunately the Pheonix was the best match but that was a bit of a stretch too because it's a Firebird. Same with this car, still can't understand why Rockstar didn't just give us a proper Charger Daytona using the Dukes...

Yeah they were close, unfortunately we can't get the deep dish Stanced EG wheels in the 'Street' category in chrome - if we could they'd be a near perfect match.

For the wheels I found that the bennys wheels called spindles are pretty accurate

Thank you for talking about the car being WRONG!! I can't believe that no one is talking about it. The car should be the Imponte Dukes converted & not the Gauntlet. Everybody is so caught up in Oogling & gushing over this vehicle that no one is noticing that it's WRONG!!! P.S.- F&F sucks, when a car can fall 5 stories, land on it's tires & keep driving? Without the frame, axles, ti-rods etc.. not being busted & broken in a hundred pieces doesn't fly by me. Vin Diesels best acting is playing Groot that way he keeps his real mouth shut. LOL!!!!
So true haha, Rockstar made the wrong move using the Gauntlet Classic instead of the Dukes but it's whatever, hopefully they'll give us something better next time. As for F&F I'm not too fond of the newer movies but the older ones still do have a lot of charm, no matter how unrealistic they may be sometimes. Thanks for watching though!

I sure do! I do a lot of research with these builds and people are always requesting that I do more replica videos which is why I'm trying to feature them more regularly on the channel.
@@InHerMajestiesDefense I have made dozens of TV and movie cars in gta online as well. Heck, my crew emblem is the screaming chicken off a 77 trans am I run on my smokey and the bandit Phoenix.

Use the small 5 spokes in the street wheels
I was thinking of those too but as I said at the end of the video I chose not to because you couldn't get then in chrome. Still a good option for the deep dish look though!

This is soooo on point! Question, why are your chrome tuner rims for free?
Thank you! My chrome tuners are all free because I completed a GTA Online reward (if you don't know about this, go into the pause menu, go to the 'Stats' tab, then go down to 'Awards', then scroll down to 'Rewards'.) Many of the wheels can be unlocked for free if you complete certain objectives within the game - for the Tuner wheels I unlocked those because I completed 50 heist setups.

Hey mate i love your content. Could you make a video about the C8? Apparently it is faster than the pariah on city streets... hit like 205kph in it.
I may, if I'm not able to though I'd recommend you check out Broughy1322's video on it's top speed. That's really the only reason why I'm keeping the D10 😂 the gearing is so long that it can reach some really high speeds, unfortunately not as high as the Pariah, but still pretty good for what it is. If only it was better in the corners.
StevieWunderKid it is the best and or most fun sports car imo. Topspeeds in GTAV also depend on the surface, and because ppl drive their maxxed C8s on the streets, the micro-big bumps (how do i explain) kinda counter the tall gears, and also make the car go faster for sum reason.

The rear end of this car spoils it for me, the front is spot on but the back ruins it for me to be honest.
Exactly right man, in my opinion the Daytona front end is waaaaaaayyyyy too long and it messes up the proportions entirely. That, combined with the Cuda / Challenger rear end isn't the prettiest lol
Quite honestly this car should remain as the plymouth coz the phoenix doesn't have light covers like the daytona

Yeah, I mean you can, but Pheonix is based off of a Trans-Am lol. Really the only two things going for the Pheonix are the big spoiler and the cost.

Yeah that's another option because it has the big spoiler. However, I think this build is more accurate because of the other mods you can do, plus its actually based off of a Mopar, not a Trans-Am. The Pheonix is a good budget option though.

Yeah sorry about that, had to really dig around the internet for pictures of Dom's car and in some of them the lighting is a bit off. Trust me on the color choice though, I remember spending like a half an hour on that alone lol

It's GTA Online lol - to get this car you need to take a normal Gauntlet Classic to Benny's and do the upgrade.
Think that this is supposed to be the Plymouth Superbird and not the Dodge Charger Daytona

Yeah, you need to do the Benny's upgrade for this one. The base Gauntlet Classic is $615,000, and the upgrade is $815,000.

If you complete certain challenges you can unlock them. You have to go to 'Stats' in the pause menu, go to 'Awards,' then 'Rewards' and page 4 should outline the challenges you need to complete to unlock them.

Have you seen the Coquette D10 man? Rockstar pretty much copied the C8 entirely and it still made it into the DLC. There would've been no issue whatsoever with the Dukes, would've been close to a Charger but there's still some key differences (the front fascia, the rear end and taillights, etc.)
although look at the game Wreckfest....they pretty much have an old school Dodge Charger in the game

when i buy cars for fast and furiuos builds i sent cars i buy t my ceo office since auto shop at my office let me do benny upgrades for cars that have those upgrades
Yup, the CEO office is great to use instead of Benny's - kind of in the same way that certain parts can be unlocked in an Auto Shop!

Getting from 64 to 72 should be fairly quick, just pay attention to the event week jobs that pay out double money and RP. A couple hours of doing those jobs and you should get up to 72 without issue.

Press right on the D-pad, or whatever the default control is to turn on/off the headlights.
