The wing was actually so tall because they wanted down force in NASCAR but they also wanted it in the “Clean Air” they said the trunk thing so it could be a legal car to race

Now, you can have a disproportionate Daytona in GTA! Rockstar logic is to put a Daytona nose cone on a challenger rather than a charger.

I think the top-end for this car is pretty close to the gauntlet hellfire, so It might actually bring something to the table in the muscle cars class
They should’ve made it an entirely separate car. I love them trying to make Benny’s relevant but this feels kinda cheap to me

This Gauntlet build is a slap in the face of what the Daytona actually was.
Richard would not be pleased, and I know Kyle personally, it takes a lot to piss either one of them off. So I'll be pissed off for them.

Yeah, I’m glad that Rockstar made more vehicles available to customize at Benny’s Original Motor Works too. What other vehicles would you want to customize at Benny’s shop? A few vehicles that I would personally want to customize at Benny’s shop are the Progen T20, Vapid Bullet, Karin Futo, and the regular Invetero Coquette from GTA 5’s story mode.

@@samariiowens7621 Well, I don't really know now that you mention it, the MK2 is pretty much the same on the surface, except that I guess it is more powerful and lighter and all that. So, I'd say that a mix between the two would be cool.
I honestly prefer the standard Gauntlet Classic, thanks to that awesome WWII fighter livery that I love to have on as many cars as have it, but I might end up getting another one to get this custom version for my Benny's collection. It's really nice, and I could totally replicate the real car with it. Beautifully modeled, includes all the bells and whistles from the real cars, I love it.

BTW it's a common misconception that the spoiler was that high for the trunk, there's an interview on Road & Track where they interview one of the designers. He simply wanted the spoiler to reach clean air and never thought about the trunk. They were making a racecar, functionality wasn't their first thought.

I was and still very much am impressed that rockstar actually did all those actually sound customizations for both the regular and custom gauntlet classic I just wish they put more effort into the model for the hellfire engine make it look more SRT and less R/T also great Daytona build 10/10
Some of my friends and I did a 3 mile drag race on a perfectly flat track with this car, the hellfire, and the regular guantlet classic. It shocked me, but the new gauntlet classic custom is faster than the hellfire by just a little bit.

I beat the new lower price f1 car with this car earlier in a drag race. It was insane!
F1s are slow as hell race a real car next time fq cars top out at 110kmh on the in game dash which is slower than most cars in the game
I like how it’s the challenger instead of the Charger. I’ve always had ideas about it because the charger is too long for a conventional track. The Daytona itself is longer than the charger, the challenger is shorter and lighter making it a more convenient and even faster than the charger.

Now the problem is that the bravado dukes should’ve been the car to make the Daytona because the Daytona is based off the charger not the challenger

The spoiler wasn’t made that tall so the trunk could open. The guy who designed the car said it was so clean air could go through the rear and make it more aerodynamic.
It's fine if you don't want to lower your car but then don't review its handling because the upgrade would make it better

I’ve just tried it, and it ONLY doesn’t show up when you’re customizing your vehicle AT Benny’s Original Motor works. If you take your Benny’s vehicle to Los Santos Customs afterwards you can put “street” wheels on it there.

12:36 I’m pretty sure it wasn’t originally for the opening of the trunk, like in F1 the air behind cars comes out really disturbed and the reason the Daytona had it so high was for it to get cleaner flowing air that wasn’t disturbed rather than the lower much turbulent air.
Should’ve been an upgrade to the Dukes.
