We should normalize making vlogs at the fields! I’ve been working in the fields since I’ve been 11.. I’m 18 now and working in the fields has gave me so much motivation to do better in school and to achieve my goals so that I can have a better future for my parents and kids!
This was such a great video, it brought back so many great memories of when I worked picking grapes with my mom, along with my siblings. Plus it helped me show my kids, where I worked as a kid. ❤
Awesome video great Job, I’m actually thinking of heading for the first time to the fields from Shafter CA so this was a great way to prepare mentally what to expect. Thanks soo much 🙏👍
@@ToniaLennyslife Hi thank you for watching my video! Try to learn fast. Sometimes you can not go by the book and learn some tricks to be faster. I’m talking about shortcuts. After work , when some grapes were not packed we would sneak the grapes to our car and would practice at home. Good luck!
Hey, this is awesome! Thanks for making this video, I am interested in working in the fields and I have a question. How do you get started? i've heard that people show up and scout the boss and ask for work, but i'm wondering of there's a more formal way. Any tips as well? Thank you! Great video
Hey ! Thank you for watching ! My mom had connections to look for work , but there are seasons that there is no work so you yourself have to find a way to a different job working in the fields , the way I did it was to try to find a group in Facebook and see what the best job would be for me !
How much does this field produce pay? I have heard various amounts. This is definitely something I would love to do. I love the family working together we also do that here in the factories.
Well it all depends in what field of fruit or vegetable you are working in , it can be by contract so you get paid on much you make or hourly which would be minimum wage , sometimes they offer bonus but that depends again on the fruit/vegetable you are working in , it is back breaking work because of you work hard enough then you can make a lot but it can be tiring so you can just make enough to live off of
What she said was very spiritual when you ask why she does this kind of work... blacks Hispanics and native Americans are descendants of the 12 Tribes of Israel, the chosen people of God, and MEXICANS are of the tribe of Issachar or in Spanish “Isacar” and when I said “she said something very spiritual” this is what I meant... Génesis 49:14 Isacar, asno fuerteQue se recuesta entre los apriscos; Génesis 49:15 Y vio que el descanso era bueno, y que la tierra era deleitosa;Y bajó su hombro para llevar,Y sirvió en tributo.
Shout out to the workers in Guadalupe, Ca. I would see them get there when its dark/am and leave just before dark/pm....hard workers for sure....👍👍👍👍🙋♂️....seem like mostly women/chulas for sure....My crew and I resurfaced the Santa Maria River Bridge
I work with my father picking 🍇, but the amount of Culture Bigotry is toxic. People think that if you are an US Citizen you have it easy and the constant backbitting is harassment.
Notice how she didn't have coffee with her breakfast, probably because coffee can upset your stomach and make you pee a lot, city office workers have coffee with their breakfast, not farm workers!
Go Strong Beautiful Lady 😊💪🙏
