IRONMAN Training Vlog | TRI EFFORT Week 17 | Recovery & Down Week

  • Week 17 of my Ironman Training Vlog for the 2024 Ironman Chattanooga Race this September (among many other races throughout the season).
    This week was more of a recovery week with a few intensity workouts. I did an awful job capturing the first couple days and lacked some motivation filming wise this week. It’s a lot easier to film this stuff when i know theres something exciting going on vs the day to day workouts. We’ll figure it out to try to keep it more interesting in the future, just trying to stay the course at the moment.
    Week 17:
    Monday: Recovery day
    Tuesday- TT Bike Workout 🚴🏽
    Wednesday- Recovery Swim and Run 🏊‍♂️ 🏃🏻
    Thursday- Swim Bike Run Fairport 🏊‍♂️ 🚴🏽 🏃🏻
    Friday- Pool Swim 🏊‍♂️
    Saturday- Indoor Hard Effort Bike 🚴🏽
    Sunday- Dirtbike substitute for long run 😵‍💫
    This vlog covers my daily training, lifestyle, and various other races along the way as I attempt to reach some new goals this season.
    I race as an age group triathlete in the 35-39 division. My goals are to be competitive within the top of the field and to try to secure world championship qualifications, but at the very least I will be having all of the fun along the way.

      Ya know, I used to feel bad supplementing moto, but it’s 3 days later I am still sore from it. Must be doing something right 😂
