My taste in perfumes has evolved so much over the years that I appreciate flankers now more than I ever have. I was always kind of like "why" when a new flanker would come out, thinking if the OG was so good, why a flanker? But now I'm like "yay, a flanker" that has more of this, less of that, sweeter, not as sweet, fruitier, more floral, etc. Flankers are so fun! But the downside is I spend more 💰💸 and have no space to put them 🤣
I think Girl of Now Shine is way better than the original Girl of Now by Elie Saab. Maybe because of the pineapple and pear scent. It is definitely strong and longlasting.
I absolutely love Hugo Boss The Scent Private Accord which is the most beautiful gourmand fragrance and prefer it to the original floral and fruity The Scent.
I think the LVEB intensement is the one that’s the most different from the original. It doesn’t have the praline or patchouli the original has. It smells more simple. Raspberry & vanilla. I have it & I love ii . I also have the original and the L’eclat
I love the Intensement SO much, it’s one of the nicest things I’ve ever smelled. Honestly the original kind of smells like nothing to me, even though the notes look nice. I’m saving up to buy LVEB Intensement, I’m so excited! Do you still love it as much as when you first bought it?

Great topic! I love the red lip!! My preferred flankers are D & G Light Blue Intense, Mon Guerlain Intense and Narciso Rodriguez For Her Fleur musc over the originals. They smell completely different to me. Chanel Chance eau fraiche is another favorite over the original and the other Chance flankers.
I still prefer the original L'interdit EDP released in 2018 over the flanker. It's very sophisticated and elegant. It's very long lasting 8 hour +, very good sillage. Unsurpassable in my opinion ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

You cheered me up - your smiling face is like a ray of sunshine 🌞. I prefer a flanker of Decadence called Decadence Rouge Noir, it’s more rounded and the sensual dry down comes pretty quickly; I think it’s discontinued. LVEB intense, also discontinued has whipped cream and nutty notes, very nice.
I was so disappointed at my Ulta last weekend that they had several Dolce flankers but only a tester of the original. Thank you for describing scents well enough that even though my taste is different I get a good idea of what I might like!
I got a sample of absolutely blooming and find it to be so old lady I would almost call it vintage . the coach blush I agree with you about though. My 12 year old fell on love with it so I got her a full bottle but once in a while I wear it too. Very fresh and pretty and floral
Does UK/europe have more fragrances that come out and they dont roll out in the US? Some of these sound so good but ive never heard of them or seen them in the US.
I REALLY like the Elie Saab Le Parfum "Essentiale" and "in White" much better than the original. Also, Mon Guerlain" Florale" I find a bit better than the original
I used the Elie Saab Resort Collection perfume yesterday to try and refresh me, it really helped! (It was a whopping 35 degrees Celsius and basically everyone in my house was turning into melted ice cream 😂)
Have you tried the Giorgio Armani Acqua di Gioia collection? I absolutely adore the original Acqua di Gioia for women, it is a beautiful, very long lasting scent. It projects so nicely and a little goes a long way!
dolce garden is SO much nicer than the original dolce! I had a sample of it forever ago from a department store and I refused to try it because it had “garden” in the name, but one day I sprayed it on my wrist and WOW it blew me away, I ordered a big bottle right away!

It's a heavy smell . which I don't usually like but I have already gotten a full bottle of scandal by night for this winter and well 29 other perfumes for winter cuz that's my new favorite things. Anyways the intensement is a deep sweet lingering grown up raspberry with no patchouli (the most important thing for me). Can't wait to fill the house up with the smell of intensement this winter
I prefer Guerlain Shalimar Soufflé, YSL Black Opium Intense over the original. Lancôme comes out with great flankers. I need to check out Estée Lauder Beautiful Magnolia.

I prefer Black Opium intense to the original Black Opium, and I also prefer Angel Muse to the original Angel

I agree on these! La Nuit Tresor A La Folie is also my favorite in the line (though Nude is a close second). I love its vanillic woodiness.
