I thought it was ridiculous that people kept being sent out with checkers in videos, but then I did some research. I can’t believe it gets you three extra cans! That’s absolutely wild! Apparently if you take the padlock you can come back with 2 or 3 water bottles! That’s super surprising! I’m not interested in breaking records personally, as I’d rather play the game casually. (My goal is to have the whole family survive, along with Pancake!) But I’m definitely going to consider these strategies next time I play!

hi, me again 😭 i commented on your other video, and wanted to ask you a question or two since you got so far! when you’re playing, does selecting a character to go outside and do something (not an expedition) cause bandits to come? such as robbing the neighbors house and selecting dolores to go do it. 🤔 also, does robbing supplies from any place (retirement home, school etc) trigger bandits or raiders?
Well, if you send somebody outside to go look at something they saw in a map or something then no, that doesn't trigger raiders. But if you steal from the retirement home, it kinda indirectly increases your chance of being attacked by the bandits. So never steal from them, I will explain why they will increase the chance on a guide video that I'm working on

Quick question, What are the odds (roughly of course) of not getting followed on the 3rd expedition? Based on all your runs you’ve done I mean. I go back and forth of only doing 2 or doing 3 like you cause I seem to already have like a 33% chance of getting followed on the 2nd expedition. The only time I haven’t been followed on the 3rd is if I wait til like day 80 to do it and even then it’s low chances
Idk, I usually don't send 3 times, in this run i was a greedy bastard but there's just a chance you get followed every time you send an expedition after the first one, that chance is like 50% maybe? You can probably just send once at the start and still be wr pace though, but I think the chance doesn't increase or decrease if you send a lot of expeditions so it stays at like 50% (not sure ofc)
In the old 60 seconds when a person is alone in the shelter for too long they will go crazy but in 60 seconds reatomized that doesn't happen, the only way to go crazy is through events and if you keep dolores' sanity up she won't go crazy
Normally it takes dolores around 30 days to die from sickness, but yours is probably dying because you don't feed her when she's starving. Feeding her every 5 days actually isn't enough, check her every now and then to see if she's starving, because if you keep feeding her every five days she will get sick and die after

Also I did this before case came out of retirement. I have screenshots of my old PBS, but idk what else to tell you, I don't even know if you can make a tas in this game. If you could then I guarantee you people would be getting 500+ (legit) runs every day.

In the old 60 seconds when a person is alone in the shelter for too long they will go crazy but in 60 seconds reatomized that doesn't happen, the only way to go crazy is through events and if you keep dolores' sanity up she won't go crazy

If you don't have the lock and you send her the chances of her dying are much higher and you don't need to heal her right away
