This one is taking the crown as my favorite In the Field episode. Also, IA music is different, music has more rules for every rhythm that constructing a song is just about adjusting tones, keys and scales and we're done. In a way, AI music is not that different than mass produced industrialized music but now you can make it.
I would highly suggest watching the anime series Ghost In The Shell: Stand Alone Complex if you want to have a peek at the kind of future they're talking about in this video Namu. It's an anime for adults and can be quite complicated or deep. But it's really good.
6:11 That's me. Not only do I enjoy cars and driving in general, but the idea of putting my life in the hands of a self driving car doesn't sound appealing to me whatsoever. I'd try it once or twice as a gimmick, or in emergencies, but never as a permanent means of getting me from A to B.
the reCapatcha are absolutely horrible to deal with as an AI if you click it as an AI, you MAY get past it, but usually you dont, and once you failed once you wont get past it ever often your ai will need to reset its progress and re-do things, its not fun
Imma give Suno ai maker tho, that site is useful as heck for music shit posting Also I don't want no chip in ma brain, just give me the smart glasses and I'll be good
Music has already become a really soulless industry where most of the good stuff is buried under layers of drivel, I don't think AI music will really change much. I played around with Suno a bit and most of the stuff it comes up with is really generic, and a large portion of it is super wonky. It's not gonna be taking any jobs anytime soon. Not to mention the fact that it wouldn't really change much for the live music scene. People love their concerts, and they love personalities behind music artists. Now more than ever, even. I'd say that the personality has eclipsed the music in our current era. I think that by the time AI can churn out pop/rap hits society will have moved onto a different top genre. Back to rock, perhaps. Maybe jazz. I see a fair amount of simpler, pre-70s type genres having a bit of a resurgence, could be that. I feel like rap is already kind of getting to its logical conclusion where there isn't any new ground to break. Pop is able to fuse elements of any genre into it, so it'll always be relevant, but I think the secondary major genre is liable to change within the next decade or so. There is only so long that people can hear songs that all relatively sound the same before they move on. Obviously it won't be the end of rap as a genre, there will still be plenty produced, and rap fans will still have material to enjoy, it just won't be in the public eye. If anything, since it won't be making as much money, it'll ensure that only those with a genuine dedication to the genre will still be producing stuff. Sorta like how it is for rock/metal now. I imagine that it'll be a cyclical trend that spans about 100 or so years worth of genre shifting every generation.
Regarding Suno and AI music. Yeah, I love when I spend 50+ hours on writing, producing, mixing and mastering a song and get 50 views on RUclips while someone wrote a couple of prompts and generated a song, then upload it and get 100 times more views! Honestly puts quite a damper on my motivation to make more music.

A small comment as a sacrifice for the algorithm gods!

I've used suno. It's fun to mess with, but I wouldn't call it music, more just cool to fool around with and listen to
