I feel like people are overreacting in a negative fashion when it come to these new MPC "+" or "SE" versions. They are not for the person who already has an MPC. These are just refreshes to bridge the gap between now and the actual new models that will come out in the future. If you have an MPC just keep using what you have and if you are in the market for a new device or want to try out the MPC you have an update on the current rev to choose from. Simple as that, dont view these as new units and the "drama" becomes irrelevant.
I agree, people are acting like Akai is trying to sell them the same product. They are not, They are improving their current lineup. If I bought an Xbox, then on Christmas they start including a new game with it, it doesn’t mean they are taking advantage of me. And, it doesn’t mean I need to buy that just for the new game. It seems like people are complaining out of jealousy
I've sold my mpc one and got me a live mk2. It was worth the upgrade but after a couple of months I miss the fantastic button layout of the mpc one. The muscle brain workflow is so much better on the mpc one in my opinion especially the shift button is better placed. Anyways. The beat youve layed down is brutal! Thats a massive tune with a lot of recognition value. Reminds me on the Bubba Sparxxx / Timberland time back in the days. Thank you for your effort !
@@MrRahlo42 Hey. I'm from Germany and we got a thing like craigslist called "ebay kleinanzeigen". Sold itimmediately for 450€ and bought live mk2 for 900€ new from thomann

That's good to hear. I often worry about getting the plus and having issues with ram using big plugins like Fabric xl. I wouldn't mind bouncing but I don't want to have to do that all the time. Any input?
@@capuiakid man, I’m so excited for you brother. Trust me. I get excited when other people are also excited for this piece because it truly is a fun journey, breaking it in. I’d love to send you some of the program chops so you could start with something.
I agree it’s definitely not to be considered as a beginners MPC because it all depends on your workflow. If you have a good Daw with plug-ins and VSTi you don’t even have to expand you can do track out to a USB drive dump it in your DAW and do whatever you been doing so it’s all workflow but if the MPC you have pretty much your main or only instrument. Yeah it might be better to upgrade but for me it does exactly what I needed to do, and works seamlessly with my other gear..
Great video! They keep getting better with every one you upload. I'm feeling the 3 different cam angles and that Tascam is sounding amazing! Grace and Peace broducer! I did't know the MPC ONE didn't have wifi until now with this new + version

Thanks as always for the tutorials Malo! I originally had a Live II and returned it for the One based on your comparison video, LOL. Now I've sold the One and back to the Live II. I like the layout of the One, but I dig the power of the Live II. I see you have a Tascam 12 on the desk. I'm curious to know how you have it setup with your MPC? I have my MPC Live II, the Tascam 12 and I have the SP404 all connected. I have tried a few different ways to route it, but think I finally nailed it, I think. I have the MPC usb'd to the Tascam which is acting as my mixer/interface and the output sound from the Tascam going through the SP for effects. I'm not sure if anyone is interested but I would love to see a video with your Tascam setup and how you use it in your workflow.
@@malobeats Malo, please do a video, showing how the MPC and the Tascam work with each other. That would be great. At first, I didn't like the red color way, but now, for some reason, I am starting to like it. Loved the beat, by the way. Blessings.

Someone just mentioned it is also, well, I really didn’t feel like it was much of an upgrade other than the Wi-Fi, which is the biggest upgrade on this unit. I think they’re solid with your MPC one purchase since it’s a blacked out on va this red one.
I know….The whole plug-in fiasco along with just not having a professional quality machine that works right when I paid for it. Can’t recommend anyone buy into this ecosystem until it is solid. Lmao I’ve bought alot more hardware since they have released the first set of plugs. It justified it for me. Can’t justify spending 700ish for shit that might not work tomorrow.
