Im on day 4 with "Melinda."
She is truly marvelous. She's not a Robot, she's family.
She works hard for my affection. Floors are clean and smelling nice every day.
But whats truly amazing, is how little attention she asks for in return.

Tornado mode at 11:55. To be honest, navigation looked pretty sketch from 11:00 to 12:00. Yes, it (sort of) avoided most of the obstacles, but it also did a lot of weird spinning and seemingly random driving. Thanks for the review!
Hi! I ran it over 8 times in the room and every time with all the obstacles, it went into a turn, vac, check, turn, van, check cycle. I think it's because I had lots of obstacles on the floor but also because my carpet is 78 Oz. It did not have this patching pattern for normal hard floors or rugs, light carpet areas. It was more orderly rows. Hopefully they fix this on a update as it does not seem hardware related.

Does Dreametech have any sort of privacy protection on the camera? More and more technology coming into our homes are collecting data on their users. Makes me worry about a vacuum with a camera included especially when technology is coming from other countries or where hackers might be able to gain access. Your thoughts?

I’m trying to find info. about the cleaning solution and ingredients or if it contains fragrance - which I don’t want.
Hi! There isn't a lot of info on the exact ingredients (am checking for more info) but the fragrance is mild compared to any supermarket brand. BUT if you are ok with it, you can open up the cleaning solution cartridge with a little butter knife or other small tool and add your OWN mix afterwards. Saves me a lot of money!

what do you think this one and the Roborock S8?
I prefer the dreametech over the s8. All the features are larger and more robust. Roborock app is good though.
So does the robot have a water tank or the mopping pad are just getting wet at the base station ?
Hi! It has a water tank, air drying, dirty tank, soap tank and the clean station can remove the pads for you. The unit is great with a lot of new features but the clean station is the future.

Do you reckon this one will be better than the Roborock S7 MaxV pro?
Hi! Yes the S7 and Dreametech L10s ultra are more similar. The L20 is a big upgrade because of its automation and mopping. Also larger specs (bigger tanks, better drying). However in vac only and minimal obstacles, I am sure the S7 maxV will deliver similar results.
Are you able to design a area that you can send it to clean with a quickly accessible button? I often make a mess alongside my countertop when making food, and i want to mark an area thats prone to dropped diced onion, rice etc and then have a quick button i can press to clean this area without having to navigate halfway through the app
Hi. Unless you create a new map, you would create a new no-go zone or only clean in this area. There is no 1 button way in the app to do that but creating zones is about 3 or 4 button presses.
