- I questioned 3 neighbors on the history of this awesome looking home with overgrown grass and moss on its sidewalks. They all said it hadn't been lived in for over 13 years, and one said not for 40 years. The house was built in early 1900's and looks like it still has original lumber. I was puzzled at first because the grass wasn't overgrown. Glad I stayed to the end! Amazing that the elderly owner push mows that entire property! That's probably why he's still healthy! Great job helping him out, he is going to be surprised and thrilled with your clean up! He probably doesn't own the tools to make the property look so good! Very nice of you to help out in the community!!
Yeah you could be right. Some days I feel like I’m going to die sooner from all the hard work but it is definitely good exercise 😊 Yeah I wish I could capture his expression when he sees it but it’s okay to do anonymous work. As long as it helps and empowers them, I’m good. 👍

Yeah, I hope it helps him feel good and maybe alleviates some mental anxiety over having to do it himself. Edging like that will last quite a while here. And I think someone said he was in his 90’s.

😂😂😂 My wife’s grandfather was given one as a present once and I’ve also seen them online years ago. I recently bought one and realized it does an amazing job. However, I wish it did better on big open flat spaces. It’s good for small spot or along edges. Eats right through pretty much anything, even built up wet dirt. I tried a nylon brush which was nice but it isn’t as durable and it doesn’t eat away at wet dirt.
