  • We transformed and REVEALED much more of a walkway, patio, and even something completely hidden within the overgrowth. Stay till the end to find out what it was. The first time we came to this property we mowed down the tall grass, see link below. We didn't have enough time to finish up the first day so we came back. Enjoy some asmr sounds of shoveling, raking, edging, blowing, and hand pruners!

Atta Scout!!! You have discovered the half-moon edger! I have a short handled version also known as an edging iron. I use an 80-year-old long handled version passed on to me by a webbed toed Oregonian gardener. I use it with a rocking motion, half a blade width at a time. Most of the time I edge with my Stihl Kombi, but when the turf gets deep, I save time as well as wear and tear on my edger, using my venerable sharp metal edger. Just find the edged and rock your way done. Oregon Expat in Omaha. PS. Sorry for your loss....

😂😂😂 thank you for that. Yeah I’ve had that edger since I started my business but I only use it at certain times like what you explained. Mine is not the cool half moon version but a rectangular pointed shape.

Too bad you couldn't use the patio dirt to fill in the ruts in the back yard to make it smoother. (I know that would look terrible for a while... but it would be nice!)
Edit to add: thumbs up for the broken bucket... MVP of this episode. Hahaha!

😂😂 I thought about it but there were too many bumps to fill in and they asked that it be put in a certain area. And yes, the bucket was the MVP.

True but their walkway and patio were not the worst I’ve seen for sure.
