I sugar scrub my lips at least once a week because my lipsticks tend to dry out my lips and I HATE when they are flakey because then my lipstick doesn't apply smoothly. After you scrub your lips they seem more plump as well which is never a bad thing! xo Happpy scrubbing! Oh and you can also use these for other dry areas on your body too! :)

since I'm allergic to coconut I used Vaseline to replace it & it still works great! I made the cinnamon sugar one :)
I was waiting till somebody used Vaseline thanks you saved me
lildejj I don't have coconut oil and when I saw your comment I was relieved thank you for commenting this
Did anybody else realized that she said "Ground Sugar" instead of "Ground Cinnamon" in 1:07
Yea? It's kinda funny though...He-He
Innit so funny and when I just heard it I was like what because I thought she would plan this out like all great you tubers are maybe she didn't realise so it doesn't matter because everyone makes mistakes
I know? I wasn't trying to be rude or anything???
Yh I noticed that lol xx
Did anyone else notice she said ground sugar
Heads up girls, if anybody wants to get FREE make-up samples to try out different brands then head over to == ga4u.site == Mine were delivered 4 days ago & I'm pretty sure they will last quite some time.
You can use sea salt for face/body scrubs. You can also use just about any natural oil such as avocado oil, hemp seed oil, etc. I also like to add vanilla and/or peppermint extract for flavor for lip scrubs and for body scrubs I like to use lime zest (for color, you can use any citrus zest) and pepperment for the invigorating properties! The nice thing about sugar lip scrubs is that you can lick them off!
Fair enough. I usually just wipe it off and lick off whatever is left so there's no sugar on my face lol.
I'm glad you mentioned in the description box that it can be used on other body parts. This would be perfect for elbows, knees and feet. :-) Thanks for sharing.
Aww great gift idea for those on a low budget this year.
If you add vitamin e oil it will last a lot longer!! It's a great preservative!! :D
I was researching that and I read that vitamin e isn't a preservative at all. I've seen alot of videos that say it is, though.
just tried the pink scrub..If you don't have coconut oil use a piece of an old chapstick. My lips feel SO refreshed and soft!!!
Nicole Guerriero These are super cute and I love that their all natural:) I use to love buying Lush's lip scrubs but then realized I could just make them at home for much cheaper with cleaner ingredients. Thanks for sharing this recipe! xo
they are or they're ;)
Sarah Duarte oh my, who caress lol
Did anyone else notice that she said she was adding ground sugar when she added the ground cinnamon? She's just so cute, even her little bloppies are precious :)
Jennifer Dernai-Garavaglia haha yea I noticed that. I thought maybe it was cinnamon sugar and then i thought nope.. just cinnamon haha
***** so touchy i was just pointing it out xp
This is such a cute gift idea, Nicole

I've got a similar video on my channel except mine is with vanilla, a dupe for lush's sweet lips lip scrub. Great DIY gifts :)
my lips are all ready pink and this made is really brighter pink people ask what color lipgloss im wearing but i have none on thank you so much i put it on 2X a day very helpful idea for us girls
lol you said ground sugar instead of cinnamon
I did the dry pink one, only I used a crystal lite to go drink mix for color, because I didn't have good coloring and it made it taste so good. I love it. so quick and easy to make, and so much cheaper and more fun than buying lip scrubs.
are you supposed to refrigerate the lip scrub?
Ya
Oh my god just made the pink one but with almond my self and my lips feel amazing!!!! Thank you Nicole ! Lovely!!
can we use Vaseline instead of the coconut oil
Your new kitchen is gorgeous. Congrats on the new place. So happy for you.
I feel like the second scrub would just dye my lips?
That's kind of an advantage, because then you get some color to them also (:
Trust me it wont I tried it and it doesnt give color once u blend a little
I tried, it didn't dye my lips
It tints ur lips , that's the point
This worked great! I just used white sugar and vegetable oil and gentle rubbed my lips and left it for about 5 minutes, afterwards they looked plumped, a nice shade of pink and staid super soft for the whole week then i followed it with my babylips! Its amazing!
amazing gift idea! :) thanks!
I hope you do more DIY videos soon! This lip sugar scrub and the terrariums are so cool!
She said ground sugar instead of ground cinnamon
I absolutely love this! It's such a cute gift and more thoughtful than just buying a lip scrub for someone. Can't wait to try these out!
amazing thanks can you do a how to fix broken blush xoxo
add alcohol, reshape the blush, let it dry and you're good to go!
Doing this all this weekend. I know what I'm going to give as a gift to my mom :)!
Do you see some one at 3:11 behind her?
I FEEL LIKE A WHOLE NEW PERSON! I made the brown sugar scrub, and it worked wonderfully. What have I been doing without this for all of this time? A++ love your videos and beauty tips...you are officially my idol guru. -Ashley xoxoxo
you literally could just take Vaseline and sugar and mix it together
Miley Queen that's not how it works
yes it is I promise go try it.
Miley Queen ok
These are so much better than the Fresh sugar scrub I bought at Sephora, even though I like that one these are more natural!!
1:07 ground sugar?
Roo Cherry Pie Ground Cinnamon
+Roo Cherry Pie yeah.. i noticed that too
how cute is this diy? great diy gift idea or stocking stuffer! i think i'm making some lip sugar scrubs and adding peppermint oil in one as a holiday scent... and i love the pink scrub so cute & girly.
Can you use something else instead of coconut oil?
Vaseline/petroleum jelly would work too 😊
I think that Vaseline would be to sticky
Liana Banana Maybe but it is used in some store-bought lipbalms :)
Oh ok
Liana Banana olive oil
You guys this is pretty helpful! My lips are so smooth I can't stop rubbing them together lol. What I did instead of using coconut oil was I used brown sugar, honey, canola oil, and some cinnamon. Still as effective like the recipe in the video and pretty helpful.
1:09 lol ground cinnamon ?
I made the brown sugar honey lip scrub and I love it!!! My lips have never felt so smooth, lol. Thank you Nicole! Keep up the awesome DIYs :)
The cat scared me at 3:54

So cute Nicole! I loved this. Also, I love the variety you have been posting lately! Thank you! xo
Love it! I have the brown sugar coconut oil for myself and will make more as gifts!
cute idea! i really need to start making my own lip scrubs. my lips never get too chapped tho so that's probably why i never think of doing it!
this is an awesome idea for christmas presents for all my girfriends! you just saved me a ton of money! thank you!
I like to make sugar scrubs for the shower. I layer coconut oil, flower petals, and coarse raw sugar. On top of the sugar add a few drops of jajoba oil and essential oil (like grapefruit). It looks pretty all layered when you give it as a gift.
I've really enjoyed watching you grow as a youtuber through your videos! Keep up the great work, and I hope to see you with your own talk show or beauty show on tv one day! Merry Christmas to you and your family.
I have finals in a week and a half.. but your new video came up and now its time for a study break ! Love you girl
You could not have made this at a more perfect time!! My lips have definitely been forgotten about during my skin care routine and do not look the same anymore with lipstick on. Will definitely be trying this soon, thank you!! Merry Xmas from Cali...xoxo
You read my mind! I've been wanting a lip scrub but didn't know how to make them. And I can't find them anywhere. Thanks
I love coconut oil! So many uses all in one inexpensive bottle. Works great as a hair treatment. Also wont clog pores or break u out!
I can't believe I never thought to use a toothbrush!! You're a flippin genius Nicole!
I recently found your account and I'm obsessed with it
I'm gonna make some for the kids they always have chalked lips in the winter .....THANK YOU NICOLE!!

This is cool! And so easy. I'd like to try the brown sugar scrub for my body. Much cheaper than buying it and it's one of my favorite body scrub scents.
I need to do this! Wanted to buy in store but they're all so expensive. Thank you for the DIY tutorial Nicole Guerriero! :)
As soon as I saw this video I went crazy making them, I made everyone in my family use them it was fun!!!! Thanks girl!! ❤️
Nicole! Love this tutorial! Will def try this! And other people who are commenting negative comments don't have to watch the videos or leave comments! Also Nicole thank you for that code for the bellami complete curler! I wanted to buy this from the first time that I saw it in your tutorial! But at the time it was pricey and I was sure I needed to wait but you saved me a 160 bucks! Which made it possible for me to order! THANK YOU SO MUCH! XOXO

OMG! Best DIY lip scrub ever. It's better than one I got for like 30 bucks!
Always make my own lip scrubs .. never thought about putting color in them tho ! Such a cute idea !!
I'm so glad you did this video! I need to start doing this. Thanks
and i was just about to order a lip scrub yesterday! this is awesome thanks Nicole!!!
Coconut oil is great in EVERYTHING. It makes coffee taste amazing, flavours all your food with this incredible exotic taste, it moisturizes your hands, hair, whatever! Only thing is in Barbados (where I live) it is NOT cheap at ALL, in fact it's exorbitant... THe brand you used costs around $40 for that size. And it's so warm here that unless you have air conditioning in your house it doesn't stay solid.
thats funny.. in my region coconut oil is ALWAYS solid and its really annoying, too! :D its hard to use as a body moisturizer without heating it up hahah
how do you use it in your coffee? it sounds so good i want to try it!
I'm loving all the DIYs! I can't wait to see what other ones you post :) You have an awesome channel.
Nicole you're a life saver :) I live in Denver now and it's -2° so my lips were just suffering . Just did the brown sugar scrub and it worked wonderfully. Thanks :)

I LOVE YOUR DIY's !!!! This and the terrarium one.
Nicole you're a life saver :) . I live in Denver now and it's -2° here and snowing so my lips were suffering. I just tried the brown sugar scrub and it worked wonderfully. Thanks
Love this! Thanks so much. I have such flakey lips and I've been wanting to buy me lip scrub but now I can just make my own! You're the best!
Olive oil and honey are by far my favourite ingridients for at home 'spa' .. So amazing! Cool video Nicole :)
just made mine and it came out great and very tasty. just used regular sugar coconut oil and honey.
These would be good body scrubs as well... Except for the pink one! Lol. I make these all the time. Usually add a couple drops of essential oil to make them smell yummy. Great video and cute idea!
Such a great gift idea! Definitely gonna have to give this a try!
Thank you for these tips! My lips have been so dry! And I was going to go buy some lips scrub at bath and body! Instead making some tom and apply it on my lips! I won't have spend any money because I have all the ingredients I need! Love you Nicole your so freaking beautiful and seem like a party all the time! Much love!
I used some jojoba oil, and a TINY bit of vitamin E oil instead of the olive oil. But used coconut oil & brown sugar. And I pinch of honey too cuz I don't want it too sticky. I'm hoping since everything is natural it can be interchangeable regardless :)
Definitely going to be making some of this! Thanks for showing us how
This is amazing, I can't wait to make a ton for Christmas gifts! Also THAT SHIRT 🙌🙌🙌 its gold Nicole Guerriero
Just made the cinnamon sugar one! It smells so good!
Omg!! You answered my prayers!! I was just looking for videos about this the other day. Love this 👍
I just made it!!but without cocconut oil,still it's great..thank you!!
A good lip balm that you could use is any kind by Burt's Bees because they are natural lip balms without alcohol that will dry out your lips over time. Vaseline doesn't moisturise, it only coats the lips making them feel moisturised. Just a tip for anyone who needs it :)
Looks like a great gift idea
This works so good for me thanks for the tips my favorite was the brow sugar
Haha I swear Nicole your cats are in all your videos! So cute, and I made the 1st scrub, works like a charm! Thank you for this :D
Awesome video... Can't wait to make some!! Just thought id let you know that you HAVE to try 'rose jam' shower gel from Lush... You will LOVE it!!! (I know how much you love that rose scent) xo

Love your new house! Especially that gorg kitchen.. Thanks for the gift idea! :)
You're one of my top faves!
I made my own using vaseline, a little lime juice for taste & smell, some food coloring and white sugar. Very moisturizing! I will have to try making some with coconut oil next time. @nicoleguerriero i love your videos!!
