They’re made for kids, who usually don’t care about social commentary, they just want to have fun.
I agree wholeheartedly, The Lego Movie (my favorite animated movie) for example, got a bit of backlash for not having enough female characters in the movie, who cares, also apparently Emmet being the special and not Wyldstyle is sexist because Wyldstyle is strong and did everything in the movie while Emmet did nothing which means Wyldstyle was being left out because she was not the special, Okay Emmet did not do nothing, he was trying to help but everyone ignored him because he wasn't a master builder, and also Wyldstyle was not left out, she was working hard to keep Emmet and the piece of resistance safe, she was included when everyone (except Emmet, somebody give this boy a hug) was building the submarine. Speaking of Emmet, he never once rubbed about being the special to her face, heck Emmet literally gave Wyldstyle the chance to be the special when he sacrificed himself. so all in all, I think this backlash is stupid.
Another issue with Star Giant I noticed: She has a serious problem with ripping points and lines from her old boss. (3:50) Enter actually elaborated on this point in his review of Cans Without Labels by explaining how you can invoke the style of older decades of cartoons while leaving behind things that only hinder the final product, specifically the 4:3 aspect ratio. Star Giant's issue was with the gross out, which was pretty prominent in the 90's but isn't exclusive to the 90s.
You do also realize in several of MPKs videos he rips jokes and full on points from Mr Enter and even Cartoonshi particularly in his top 10 worst plush videos of 2020 so far
As someone who enjoyed keeping up with TLH until early S5 (before ditching cable) and is friends with Star Giant, this is a pretty good response to her video!
Star is one of the worst review channels I have seen. She never explains her points, her editing is beyond terrible, and she DOESNT PAY ATTENTION TO THE FOOTAGE. Good review MPK. Agree with alot of this.
Well that doesn’t mean she’s a bad person, in fact even though I do agree that a lot of her reviews can go overboard at times, her Pixar Path series is actually great, especially since my friend DashieTheYTP Productions collaborates with her on the series. Mostly her section on Enter, of course I’m biased as I am a fan of him, and it’s completely fair not to like him especially considering his political BS last year and the disaster of Nick-O-Rama. But I’m skeptical of it because she claims Enter fired her for “no reason” when it could very well of been he found her editing bad and she wasn’t improving or even something personal she isn’t revealing. Also she says a problem she had working with him was Enter wanted a professional relationship and not a friendship, which make sense from Enter, she was his employee, so of course he as a boss didn’t try to get friendly with his workers. I don’t know I might just be biased, but the section just came off as odd. You can dislike Enter for completely valid reasons, it’s what she said that just didn’t feel right.
In Star's Dexter's Lab review. She was foreshadowing on what she thought about Lisa, by saying that Dexter and Lisa have the exact same problems as each other. But in her Loud House video, now that she's talking about Lisa. She doesn't state exactly what is wrong with her, and how Lisa gets information wrong When you foreshadow something that your going to talk about. You need to actually explain what doesn't work about that thing when you get to it In my Teacher's Pet review for example. i foreshadowed a problem that i was going to have with Ollie's Pack, and when i got around to reviewing Ollie's Pack. i saved that one problem for an entire segment, and fully elaborated on why it doesn't work Star just says that Lisa gets a lot of information wrong. Without expanding on that, or showing actual examples on what Lisa gets wrong, and is it me. or did the clip that one of Star's editors use, feel just thrown in. The clip that is shown right before star says that, is just Lisa saying that the argument that Lori and Leni had. Were going to the next level
On a different note, I also have been viewed as a person who "takes the show too seriously" (as some claim.) This is mainly because I've written a Loud House fanfic that basically gives the Louds (sans Lincoln) the same treatment the Wattersons experienced in the Gumball episode The Finale. Without going too deep into spoilers, that episode involves the family finally receiving comeuppance from the people of Elmore for their own chaotic actions. In my FANFIC, meanwhile; THIS idea comes into the form of Lincoln venting his anxieties and sadness in front of some people at Gus' Games n' Grub. These people comprise of girls Linc knows from his own grade, four of his eldest sisters' friends (Carol, Whitney, Becky and Dana) and two girls from the episode Middle Men (Cici and the Photography Girl.) This leads into many people becoming aware of not only what he's dealt with at home but also the fact that he had to leave his own home while the Loud Sisters are busy with another stupid Sister Fight Protocol situation

Definitely one of Star's worst videos. Not as bad as her overly dramatic moments in videos like her Dexter's Lab review and Worst Animations of 2020 video, which I did a response to a few months back.

Aside from being a sore winner, here are some of my own personal issues with Lynn Jr.'s character. 1. She's gross...doing things that would nauseate both girls AND boys, especially ME! True, she doesn't take a liking to eating trash like Lana does but she DOES have a tendency to break wind that sounds like she needs some SERIOUS medical help. 2. She's a bully, often forcing people to play a game with her or getting them moving in the most aggressive ways possible. There was also her power-hungry moment as Hall Monitor in Schooled, where she not only threw kids into lockers (AKA Solitary Confinement) for "breaking the rules AND giving the principal (the woman who GAVE HER THE JOB) a demerit. Finally, it's her...reprehensible belief in luck and superstition; not only does she do ridiculously silly dances for "good luck," she also has a bathroom policy where NO ONE can go "Number 2" until the team becomes No.1"

She gets her karma for her actions when they say that they are moving away and Luan breaks down in tears begging them not to leave and then they say that she got pranked. And then they put her stuff on a truck. Did she not even finish the episode?

Actually, after researching, there is a problem with misandry in the show to an extent but I don't feel like getting into it as it would be a long explanation. Feminism or not, whatever word you want to use, it's still misandry.
