The amount of Hitler, nazi, and WW2 references on the show is hilarious. Probably Mila Kunis’s idea to constantly rip on nazi Germany considering she’s a Ukrainian Jew lol that’s pretty much the only reason they get away with the jokes.

@Callmeshlomo I doubt no greater evil event could or would ever top what happened in those concentration camps or how the SS wiped almost wiped out an entire French village that saw a baby be crucified that even shocked the Nazi leaders who learnt about it then tried to prosecute those involved in 1944. Cooperate greed and crazy leaders of the free or the world in general is a major concern for all of us but they could never compare to 1 leader driven by absolute hate and in the end drugs. I think we all just need to just be grateful for all the things that make us love, laugh, cry and remember to how be a family guy.

@@brennathecatlover4360 Not something taught in schools usually but there are multiple documentaries about Hitler and the Nazis that I have seen give details about his drug use and some of it medically recommended for him to take. They used to be on Netflix but unsure if they are still available. Was a couple years ago so I don't recall the titles, unfortunately.

@@hrlkt3413 The trigger is connected to a bar on the side of the pistol that flexes in and out. When that bar flexes out, a lug lets the firing pin spring forward, detonating the cartridge. If you push on the front of that bar, you can fire the pistol. It'd be difficult, but it can be done.

And the ironic thing is even when they're joking about history, they try and make it accurate. The Me109s during Herbert's flashback sequence when he was a WWII fighter pilot were pretty accurate, and the episode where Brian, Stewie, and Chris went back to the Titanic featured a fairly accurate ship (save for the paint scheme).
