@@bobidderis3880 Yes & no. If you will go ported then the box will be huge with a very long port & the subwoofer will not be able to handle the same rated power. Same thing to the x-max. The song is not good for ported enclosure because majority of people in car audio will port their subs in this range 28~35Hz.

Only with expensive systems and proper power print. Bass reflex will yield most out of a single unit playing this track, should the reflex be properly made. :)
Played back in a room that can reproduce sine waves to 4Hz at 146dB this is kind of scary. It's not quite the "riding a foot away from telephone poles at 175mph on a Hayabusa" effect but it's close. The scariest (non synthesized) sound I've heard in that room was an extremely high resolution recording of space shuttle challenger. Those SRBs "chuff" at single digit frequencies and the beating on your chest literally makes it difficult to breathe and instantly produces nausea.
This song totally changed my opinion on basstronics as poor auto tuning $hit producer. Ran trough their production, and it´s actually quite good for what it is! Thumbs up for basstronics. Curtain shaker FTW!
That majorly depends on the coloration of your subwoofers. Should they be designed in such a manner they can sound equally well in both suspended and ported enclosures. Of course the low end output of a bass reflex will have a different saturation due to the difference in output, however the rest will be inaudible due to the restrictions of time over space. My bass reflex takes this track with dignity down till the lows end ... Should only my neighbors do the same. ^_^

@@anxiety1209 You can tune the box to anything you want. Doesn’t mean you’re going to get output that low. Ive mocked up 2 18s in a 24 cubic foot enclosure tuned to 15 hz and f3 is about 12.5. Im bumping two 15in Klipsch subs and those monster are pounding hard with super low frequencies. If you got the money I would definitely give them a try. Good luck and hope you can find a sub that can fulfill your needs. 💪
I can't find any Klipsch 15" subs for less than $600, but even the $1150 spl150 won't sound as good as the PB 1000 pro lol. They aren't ruler flat down to 20hz, and they don't have a good limiter. If you can feel 10hz at useable volumes with it then that's not good and you could melt the coil if you turn it up too high. You don't have to worry about that with svs because the limiter does it all for u.
Not designed for ports? You mean car folks. Home theater folks like me with real low end port tunes are fine. I have a high port tune at 17Hz. Rythmik tunes at 12Hz. JTR tunes at 10Hz. While Funk tunes at 5-7Hz for their 24". Car audio is bunk.
it really doesn't, it might be moving but it isn't playing it clean at all. i have a 12" svs subwoofer and it only goes to about 17-18hz, if i turn the volume really low it can play 15-16
You'll need a few ported subs tuned really really low, which will need massive enclosures. Or a lot of subs in a sealed enclosure. And that's only if you want good LOUD 10hz playback. (there's someone with 10 21" Subwoofers tuned to 14hz that hits 150db 14hz and up)
