only if you can bother actually making it. usually it’s probably better just to trade for pearls. most smps i’ve been on that ban the end also have a limit on ender pearls tho
I swear i was wandering why enderman always spawn way more on the side of netherwarp. I was always confused because for me going in the middle of the netherwarp biom was more optimal because you'de load only netherwarp and let more mobcap for the enderman. But each time I play with my friend and don't find a bastion to Speedrun the game I was really confused because there was way more enderman on the side of the warped biom. That explains it and I think this is a really game changing feature. Idk if this could be use on more interesting mob that loot useful stuff but that's insane that I've never seen this explanation anywhere. Thanks for the video really great explanation as always love you ♥️ (🇨🇵♥️)
The first time the clickbait is not not a clickbait. Very interesting find. This should not be patched as players won't even encounter this in normal gameplay.
I think I ended up finding this or something similar on accident a bit ago in a soulsand valley without realising what it was or how fast the mobs could spawn, so I reckon this could definitely work for a skeleton farm too
This mechanic actually fucked me over TWICE, both while building farms in soul sand valleys. This mechanic can kill the rates of IanXO4's wither skeleton farm, even if the entire despawn sphere is contained to the ssv biome, all because the game decides it's a good idea to spawn a crap ton of skeletons at the biome border. It's detrimental too because not many people know about this mechanic or how to prevent it.
I wonder if this would work reasonably well up on the nether roof. Considering that the Y level does not seem to impact the spawn rates, all you need to know is the boundary between the biomes, set up your nether portals and endermites there, and then AFK reasonably high up above. Worth trying? For single-player, could the endermen be pushed along by peer pressure along an overworld bridge to another portal to be teleported back to the player’s AFK spot for killing?
Very nice to see an useful aspect of this mechanic. Typically this mechanic becomes a pain in situations like using soul sand valley for fortress farms because of the perimeter like conditions using striders. If there are other biomes within the despawn sphere of the player and you spawnproof them like by slabbing, skeletons and to some extent ghasts spawn rapidly and can kill the farm rates quickly and sometimes cover more than 50% of the mobcap. And just like the video demonstrated, using striders would be useless.
@@Elyrio3Interesting. It reminds me of bedrock edition guardian spawning mechanics. The guardians spawn on specific blocks in the ocean monument border. Idk if it's still the same case it's been a long time since I played bedrock
Works with skeletons, to my annoyance. -Ghasts only make a single wander pack attempt despite pack size of 4 AFAIK, so it wouldn't work well.- Note that portals already instant teleport ghasts out.
I love these farms turning such an obscure behavior into something useful!
Very interesting concept!
Hi !
many smp's ban the end dimension to disallow elytras and shulkıers, so this is very handy for a multiplayer server!
I didn't think of that, I guess it can be useful then

@@xavierc12343it can also make a good xp farm I imagine. Though it would be rather expensive. Just a flex farm
Until the server ban pistons crafting…. Im never paying for ranks on an SMP again

This might be practical for a ghast farm in a ssv.
This guy surprises me everyday even more its crazy, great content
@@teddysun79 thanks a lot

I mean… just spawn proof 5 blocks past the biome border. Not that big of a deal
Ça fait plaisir de voir des français faire des chaines en anglais, t'as tout mon soutien
So this explains why I always find more endermen on the edge of warped forests and nether wastes
Best farm in the game ofc :D
@@SquishySkittlzz ofc ofc
Very very fun idea
currently playing a world with no end dimension. super useful tyvm
I didn't think of that but I guess it can be useful in that case
cant wait for world border enderman farm
Wow! What a great, and unique farm. Nice job :)
AMAZING concept!!! It's refreshing, thank you very much for your effort and contribution.
Thank you very much

Soooo, pack spawn abuse based singledim ghast? 👀
I just tested it and it doesn't seem to work with ghast, not sure why atm I would have to test it more
@@Elyrio3 Dang, that would have been epic. I think it's because ghasts have a pack size of 1 so the effect would be greatly reduced iirc
nice video i understood it very well thank you for making it easy
thank you!
very nice wiring

I would actually like to see a good skeleton only farm this way, it would be a bit more useful than enderman
@@Elyrio3 Ya that would be a nice thing to have.
Really interesting, mostly every nether based enderman farm I have seen has just used portal spam.
Yeah the portal spam tp the endermans directly so there isn't really this issue of them blocking more spawns
Nice, never thought a faster enderman farm will be in nether!
crazy find. hope the innovation comes fast before it gets patched (if this is considered a bug by mojang)
We can technically make fast skeleton farms that way which might look cool
Je me répète, mais tu es trop chaud mec!
Merci beaucoup !
Wow, cool discovery!
I wonder, could this be built on the nether roof? If so, what would the rates be like?
Spawn rates decrease the higher you go I believe
You could make such a farm on the nether roof but it wouldn't be as fast
Damn, why is this guy so smart? Leave some braincells for the rest of us
Interesting
Nice, but how did you find this "bug"
The same way I showed it in the video, I noticed a lot of endermans in some spots and tried to figure out why
@@Elyrio3Interesting. It reminds me of bedrock edition guardian spawning mechanics. The guardians spawn on specific blocks in the ocean monument border. Idk if it's still the same case it's been a long time since I played bedrock
6:34 you can use chain instead of headless piston
I didn't think about chains so maybe that could also work yeah
Farming black people like in good ol' times
Funny
so it has been around since which version?
Probably 1.16, I just know that it works from 1.17 to 1.21
Why though nobody needs that many enderpearls
Watch the first 30sec again lmao, I explain that it's because it's interesting more than it is actually useful
End Crystals for endstone farm?
How many pearls this give?
It's literally in the thumbnail, the dual dimension one makes 190k/h
@@Elyrio3 oh, sorry, i'm a little blind xD
I didn't see haha, thank you
Since when minihud is 1.21?
There are versions of Minihud, Litematica, Tweakeroo... that are developped by Sakura now
@@Elyrio3 No I know it but it must be shortly after I checked so I was surprised to see 1.21 version
is the bug working with other mobs ?
