Hey, is it possible to spawn proof the farm? Or would doing so interfere with something? Because I'd prefer to not use a mob switch mainly because of the lag that comes with it for my weak pc 😅

make sure you have an overflow mechanic built in that destroys overflowing items, i didn´t had it and forgot the turn it off, result was millions of items trying to load everytime you tried to enter the end wich our server couldn`t handle

I used a similar design for trenching for my perimeter. My fixing technique was tearing it down and rebuilding it. And doing my 12 wide trenches one three wide at a time left me with some serious muscle memory when it came to building it in the end. About two weeks after finishing my trenches the chronos 3 and 12 wide models started to appear in the technical discords. I'm glad my struggle won't need to be repeated the next time I make a perimeter.

I've been building a 528^2 perimeter and used both the 3 and 12 wide trenchers, they saved me a ton of effort compared to the smaller smooth wall trenchers I used for my last perimeter! After some mishaps with creepers and gravel that broke the 12 wide a couple times, I figured out some of the fixes you showed on my own, but you shared a few that I didn't know then that could have saved me a lot of time. Hopefully my final trencher -- another 12 wide -- has no issues (I'm 2 for 2 on the three wides!) but this video might save me some time if it does. These videos are a blessing in making cutting edge redstone machines more accessible to the public, and I'm extraordinarily grateful for your content. Bedrock breaker build guide next???

i made the 3w trencher 4 times, remade it 5 times. made the 12w trencher 4 times, remade it 4 times. good machine nonetheless. my spawn chunks never stood a chance

Does a mob switch disable the xp farm or is it unaffected by the mob cap?

There are a few improvements you can make with auto-crafters, if you want to save shulker boxes. If you have 2 auto crafters with 2 sets of hoppers leading into them (4 hopper lines from 4 shulkers of bone blocks) it will keep up with the small version of the farm. you can think of it as needing 1 shulker unloader per piston-slime/honey section, and 1 auto-crafter for every 2 drive.google.com/file/d/18UrVK5XBwZwyGJrb7qVI0x-qRnCH-vQa/view?usp=sharing That is a schematic of an updated version. You would need a pretty hefty bone meal farm to keep this up, but this does work, and it saves the shulker box
