i dont know much about social working i find your videos very interesting & informative. So you were working part time and were picking up extra shifts to earn little bit extra money, good on you sister not many people would like to work on bank holidays. You are very hardworking person and im sure your kids are seeing this hence your lovely daughter got to a great place with her hard work. I love the idea that you reflected upon why you were not very happy after getting the first job within an hour of your interview. Most people would have gushed over getting the job but listening to heart & gut is very important as your body never lies to you. Your instincts always guide you in the right direction. im so proud of you for making these videos for people who are looking to get into social work. Please say my hello to Mr O and im still waiting for a cooking lesson from him on how to cook yummy eggs lol. Have a wonderful weekend gorgeous girl xxxxx
Being trained as AMP has always been your dream. Pursue it my girl. You'll get better opportunities soon. So I suggest you stay put for now, get the training and do what needs to be done, then poof, you move better armed and better experienced. All the best.
Also, I feel you getting this job is just to boost your confidence that you can get it when you want it. So use the opportunity you have now to do your training and then fly with better wings.
@@LocsNchroniclesMrsO owww.....and meaning postponing the 3years further as you'll still want the training in future...from what you have said your desire is....
Oh bless you, and thanks for your videos am just on my second placement now finishing education in November. Your videos has been very helpful and exciting. At the end of the day I will advise that you go with your gut feeling. If u are not happy with the current role go with the new one, u never know the opportunity that will come from there. The AMHP training will always be there its not running away 😁.... all the best hun x
New to your channel loving your content. Hope you managed to make the right choice. Could the new job have offered you the AMHP training 🤔. I feel sometimes we don't ask and let a good opportunity go.
Good to have you here. I did ask as there was a provision for it in the policy but was declined as the person in charge thought I was more needed in my old job and wanted me to stay there. Not absolutely sure if I made the right move 100% but I’ve got no regrets as of now.
I will start by saying: that I really do love you😍. I think career growth is very important, If the new job provide this, it would be worth considering. Perhaps you might still get support for the AMHP. However, in whatever decison you go for, you have my best wishes as always 🥰
What I’m taking from the video 😂😂 is social workers are hot cakes am I’ll consider it too in the future. What you should do for now it’s to stop applying for new jobs 😊😊❤️❤️ thanks for sharing sis❤️
You may have mentioned this in previous videos but please remind me why you decided to go with mental health as suppose to children & families or older adults? Thanks
Hello ..i enjoy your videos so much! I am a prospective international student coming to Study Social Work. Can you help with the minimum annual salary of a newly qualified Social Worker l? Your previous videos on securing Skilled Visa after studies didnt sound encouraging..yet we hear international students of SW landing skilled visa after graduationwithout progressing with the Post study work permit. What are your thoughts or recent updates? If so please do another video speaking on this. On a lighter note. I am growing locs but i see yours are really lovely and looks quite full. Can i achieve this as i continue growing them out? Can you share tips and products to help with?
Thank you so much. Starting salary can range from 20 to 30k depending on the sector. I will do an update video on the social work sponsorship jobs. Yes, your Locs will get thicker with time.

Thank you for your comment. To be honest, I know the videos on that weren’t encouraging and not what people want to hear. I am sorry, I want everyone to come and study social work but just could not bear to lie. I am planning to update everyone with a little advice that may help. Video done, just needs editing and publishing😊 Will cover your other requests in another video😍

I remember that video well
Thanks for sharing, I am a social worker as well with the adult services.
Do you think you will be able to get the AMHP training with the NHS?
Not with my trust ☺️
Right, then I suppose you could also think in terms of wanting to make more money now or pursuing a career in view of becoming an AMPH.
