The government just left domiciliary workers at the mercy of the employers you do long hours, work from 6Am to 10pm and you are paid for only 5 hours! We care and show so much love to the service users but treated like slaves by the employers. Union is not even helping! The most traumatizing thing is after working for 2 months you don't get paid😭! Government should look into it and do something!

It's really a modern day slavery

They should find a switch Or research into career progression courses this is the UK!!

aww congrats! the testimony is nice, when you listen to the Holy Spirit he provides a way. i always hear about how hard it is to scale up once the value of the house skyrockets by the time you are able to purchase, im glad you were able to do it!, did you find the jump in house value significant? also did the costs of maintenance increase significantly now owning 100% and bein responsible for more?, would u recommend others to do shared ownership based on ur experience?

Knowing what l know now, l will NEVER GO PERMANENT EVER! I am agency, and what you said there is all WRONG or does not apply to where l am. By the way l have 5 children and work just like a permanent work but with HIGHER PAY, triple PAY lol!! Once you go agency you’ll never EVER go permanent EVER again Tell me how working two jobs…permanent and part time ie weekend, with kids? One will fail and possibly your kids. Agency all the way

Hi thank you. I learned from this video and passed my interview and landed the same job. I just finished my final placement and awaiting my SWE registration and i decided to give it a go.Did you say your interview was with an NHS MH Trust, or a local authority. Mine was with the local authority and they asked most of your all of your main questions plus three more.: discrimination, working in a multi disciplinary team and my plans for progression in my mental health career. I will be happy to give more details and more answer tips if people need. My interview panel comprised of two managers and an expert by experience.

Thanks alot for these tips! Could you do a video on how you are able to put a line between practicing social work and managing other relationships. In view that your family and friends are aware of your role and may feel more guarded being around a social worker viz a viz their expectations and relationship with their children, spouses etc. If you know what I mean.
