    My 59 f100 sat 20 years hood off ( tilted)
    Had a 74 F250 chassis custom fit
    Longbed shortened to fit but It has spun bearings in the 390 after first mountain run so in progress still
    Got big rear window and four speed
    Dual exhaust lifted too

    That is the correct style bed for the 59 f250 4x4 they used that bed all the way up to 66 4 wheel drive trucks ,because it had a larger wheel opening for the 4x4 models.

    • @Rustomod
      @Rustomod  2 года назад

      Yes correct! Just not the one original to this truck in episode 3 we will cover the bed in more detail!

    6:42 those old tires are called bias plies. they might have the deadly 2 piece rims with the lockout edge thing that loves to fly off and kill people so be careful! Well they used to make weird rim sizes like 16.5 and weird shit like that they are most likeley impossible to find tires for and if you do they are probally more expensive than actual good tires!

    • @Rustomod
      @Rustomod  Год назад +1

      Yeah we need to get some new tires eventually just love the look!

    If youhave an old starter like that where the bendex (gear wheel) gets stuck then you can spray the shit out of it with pb blaster and hit it with a hammer and most of the time it will work just like its suppose to. Sometimes you need to pull it apart and clean up the brushes and that will work most of the time!

    • @Rustomod
      @Rustomod  Год назад

      So funny that’s exactly what we did and it worked!

    • @mromatic17
      @mromatic17 Год назад +1

      @@Rustomod yeah i watch these revival channels all the time and thats what ppl do just to get them going. Before I would’ve just wasted money on a new starter, but if you can get it to work reliably then save the money, unless its gonna be your daily then by all means replace it!
