I remember Blobby land. It brings back fond memories (: Thanks for uploading
Our pleasure, real shame it did not last though, it had so much potential! Glad it brought back some great memories for you
@@Coast2Coaster I know it sucks. Shame it's been left to nothing now. I loved seeing this. (:
All you can see now is faded childhood memories (━┳━ _ ━┳━)
So true, but then that's life I guess
Absolutely brilliant video I would've loved to visit this place! I used to watch mr blobby on a vhs at my grandmas until around 2013 when she got rid of the tv
Thank you for your comments, I am glad you enjoyed the video and that it has brought back some nice memories for you, It's a real shame the park didn't survive, it started off strong and had potential to do really well, set in the lovely grounds of Cricket St Thomas, the original backdrop for 'To the Manor Born', I think there were some licensing and finance issues with Noel Edmonds and the Beeb, but not sure of the full story, Shame though, it could have been the Alton Towers of the South West!
Theme Park Family World Wide yeah it would of been nice to visit I'm really interested in the dark ride what was there and the park just has a nice general feel! I absolutely love your videos though and it's so kind to share it with other people enthusiastic about old parks and how they've changed!
Cheers James, I'm so happy that you are enjoying my videos, It's nice to have a record of some of the old favourites and it's great to know that other people enjoy reminiscing as much as we do.
@James Manders - wy didnt she just get rid of the vhs?
Surprised you still had a VHS in 2013 !
I remember going in there as a 4 year old and being terrified.
Same
Going in 4 and coming out 44
the shower curtain made me cry😔
I was years ago it's the same old old 😆
Its a shame it closed so quickly and did not reach its' full potential
Thanks

What was in the gunge factory? Could you buy samples of gunge to take home?
eisemanrenyardjake, I don't think there was anything actually in the Gunge factory, i believe it was just an entrance to the walkway around blobbyland. But it was such a long time ago I can't properly remember. Sounds like a good idea though ! will research and if any differnt will let you know. Thanks for watching
Looks like it was our answer to Disney.
