Disclaimer: I know some of you guys are (rightfully) disgruntled at some of the placements, specifically Weavewalk and Threaded Specter - I made this list in a very limited time window and admittedly did not have enough time this season to explore all the builds that I wanted to in my build series. Frankly, I don't particularly enjoy spending an hour+ sitting down and talking at length about every single element of x subset in this game, but I've decided it's kind of a necessary sacrifice in order to create a baseline that I can then update in future seasons without having to make a comprehensive video ever again. Next season, I will literally be playing any and all aspects/fragments/exotics to their fullest extent, and so I'll develop a much more precise understanding of how everything really feels in endgame content.
Basically, I made these two tier lists in a rush so that next season, hopefully I can produce a more insightful and accurate discussion of subclasses and builds in endgame content without spending 3 hours talking about everything that already exists, since most of it will already be ranked. Thankfully, we are mostly out of the woods when it comes to me ever needing to make full tier list videos ever again, since I think I've ranked almost everything that I think I'd care to rank at this point. Thanks for your understanding :)

Weavewalk should stay where it is, it takes too long to generate the threadlings for offense, and for defense the total duration is too low.
Spectre could probably have gone at the same tier as invis dodge. Since they both De agro PvE enemies from you

@@thecanadiankiwibirb4512 Weavewalk is awesome. Near invincibility on demand is amazing, you only need it to last long enough to reposition behind cover (and maybe drop a rift). The threadling generation is mostly a way to use it during some downtime to build up damage for the next fight.
You can also perform a finisher from within the weavewalk which can make it a great way to finish off a champ.

Yeah they need to do more with other slide melee. At least for lightning surge, they make it so that each lightning bolt can target the same enemy. So against single target, it will hit really hard but can still add clear when dealing with adds.
Maybe can also make you amplified when used. While amplified, it will create more lightning bolts. Reduce damage in PvP so it will never kill with one lightning surge melee but Pve damage remains the same.

Few changes I want to point out is changing the behavior and adding new features. Lightning bolts can now target the same enemy to improve its single target. It can still target multiple when dealing with adds.
Using lightning surge now amplifies you. While amplified, it will create more lightning bolts. Balance the PvP damage so it will never kill with one use regardless if you're amplified or not.

Diamond lance in a vacuum itself is pretty bad, you need to kill with stasis, dmg or ability, to get it.

Wander is straight up a free suspending grenade every 10 seconds. It is constantly keeping enemies suspended and can be easily activated. If you have and form of strand debuff on the enemy and get 1 kill you can suspend an entire group of adds. I find it way better than the other strand warlock aspects and would say it is at least C tier. It works with all warlock strand builds, keeps suspend up every 10 seconds and is super easy to activate. The hunter suspend dive requires you to use an ability which takes 20 seconds to recharge and to get close to the adds which is a bad thing to do in most endgame content. It is crazy to me to see that in B tier but the warlock aspect in E tier.

Flechette is phenomenal for setting up unravel detonation of large clusters of adds when you want to snipe a cluster from far away. It does insane damage on its own.
Yes synthos you are questioning for sniping but with the up time we've had linger from synthos I've had flechette + synthos + banner uptime insanely potent.

I really think tempest strike is better than it's given credit for in content like gms. Trying to combo blow your way through without assassin's cowl is suicide, and I thought much of the rating wasn't supposed to be around supporting exotics, like with contraverse and chaos accelerant. With threaded spectre and weavewalk too, they do more than you give credit for. Most people aren't going to be executing perfectly 100% of the time, so in a vacuum sure they aren't that great. However, they give good survivability (and weavewalk also allows you to convert melee charge into threadlings for swarmers locks) which is important for when perfect execution doesn't happen.

I've been testing it out and I like it as you can build around spamming it alot and I use it as another way to jolt.
And yes you can do that with your melee however in gms you will die most of the time.
I think you're rating them with cowl in mind and yea with cowl you are fairly safe but without it your survivability isn't to good as you don't have any health regen.

Additionally looking at the compendium, flow state doubles your class ability charge rate, halving the cooldown of your already short gambler's dodge, giving you even better uptime on tempest strike/disorienting blow. Tempest strike doesn't even increase the cooldown of disorienting to boot, not that it matters much since you're going to be looping melee with your dodge anyway with that kind of setup, and disorienting blow even provides amplified.

Roaring flame should be top C or bottom B, It also empowers normal melee just like Offensive Bulwark and Knockout.
But the benefits of Roaring Flame is the duration, it's a 20s timer, refreshable with empowered melee or it's own effect. Only downside is the damage ramping from tier 1 to tier 3 and the condition of requiring a kill instead of breaking shield or have VOvershield.
Knockout cannot be refreshed and is a 6s timer, OBulwark is tied to VO timer and immediately become useless when you lose VO.
And, if you have Sol Invictus + Roaring but no hammer, normal empowered punches will spawn sunspots, in turn gives ability regen.

I’m going to echo a sentiment I’ve seen here. But I feel like you’ve underestimated threaded spectre. I will admit that the two threadlings it spawns are gimmicks in pve, but I don’t think that is the intended appeal for it anyway (it feels like the threadlings are the equivalent of sprinkles on a cupcake). The decoy is excellent at pulling aggro, and unlike normal invisibility you can still shoot your weapons while still being relatively safe. I also like using the spectre as a makeshift barricade against snipers while getting a revive in things like gms. Now sure it’d be easier to just use invis with omnioculus, but it’s less fun. Plus a lot of times, a teammate will instantly shoot out of invis anyway.
Anyhow here’s my hot take. I hate using heat rises despite how strong it is because of how it changes warlock jump. Sure I may have restoration x2 and infinite melee energy, but my movement is so awkward feeling that I’d rather just get restoration x2 from a healing nade and sacrifice my grenade’s ability to damage.

Strand Warlock needs a complete rework. They has a major identity crisis. Honestly, they should just use the seasonal fragment where sustained damage to an unraveled target spawns a threadling, and make that core to the class. Hell it wouldnt even be the first time bungie made a fragment a warlock strand aspect. The wanderer is a lazy copy of the aspect we got at the beginning of lightfall

Also I'd rather Weavewalk grant Woven mail on demand and be able to use my weapons than have it do what it does now. Warlocks are the only class that doesn't have an aspect or exotic that helps grant woven mail.

The idea from the seasonal mods is honestly something I completely agree with. Distribute the buffs into the various aspects or something to make them feel like they do something. Swarmers also need an insane buff given how trash they are

@@TargetSniper365 Bruh, you can't make statements like this to justify that a certain class is ass. If Warlock didn't have Needlestorm or Well, it would be pretty ass too.
Yet Hunters literally define the meta rn (GG for raids, Tether for Onslaught, invis in GMs), and it is a lot due to their supers, but also due to acces to a lot of outright broken abilities. Yes, they might not be versatile, but in specific situations they are the best pick over anything else.

11:00 I really gotta disagree with this.
I think titans suspend on class ability is much better then hunters for a few reason.
    1. Titans can do use the suspend from a safe distance. I'm not charging in on strand hunter and suspending in a gm I'll jus die. But from a distance on a titan I would.
    2. Titan suspend has a much larger raids then hunters as it works like a wave from gl rather then a hunters breach gl.
I do know the cd is shorter. But if you use rally barricade with 100 resilience you'll.l get your barricade back at a similar rate to a hunters dodge.

i mean if you are comparing titan to strand dive ability i would slightly agree but realistically widows silk plus thread of generation means double shackles are even safer and quicker than titan ever can and even more safer, so realistically titan is definitely not better

@@SlongestKongest well it’s tough because from a strict aspect only don’t look at synergies or other fragments or stuff you can’t always have control over the lash, the dive it at your convienence the only difference is one is from range, I think they should be equal personally if you don’t include other context

That’s good it’s tough to solo out aspects alone and make a tier list that gets the point across, especially if their is specific exotic synergies that make the build work better than others even if the aspect is worse, I thought the video was pretty solid though.

Consecration? It's only a different melee, unnecessary with infinite throwing hammer, and weaker than Roaring Flames and Sol Invictus. O_o

    • @TheAegisRelic
      @TheAegisRelic  19 дней назад

I don't think you've actually played using Consecration, throwing hammer's biggest problem is its lack of splash (and now its unwieldy and annoying cooldown), Consecration fixes that in exchange for a relatively forgiving cooldown

    • @andremedeiros8031
      @andremedeiros8031 19 дней назад

@@TheAegisRelic I tried using Consecration a bunch of times, but it isn't that useful. At least you put Sol Invictus above it. But compared to Roaring Flames, that buffs abilities by 70%, including the super, it isn't that good. More damage is better than a secondary melee, in my opinion.
