As of late, there are only 7 C751Bs left!!! The C751Bs that retired in 2024 are 327/328, 329/330, 333/334 and 351/352. This process was suddenly accelerated in the last quarter 2023 by the retirements of 321/322, 345/346 and 347/348.
Yeah it sad to see C751B to be phase out/gone very soon. It's one of my favourite train i ever ride. This train has good and fresh smell purfume or fragrance when comes inside the train. And also one of the LOUDEST ANNOUNCEMENT SOUNDS WITH JUNITA MELSON back in the past, especially when i took train from Marina Bay to Raffles Place, it was LOUDEST 1000% ANNOUNCEMENT WITH ALSO CHIME when approaching on Raffles Place; as well as Somerset to Orchard, Toa Payoh to Bradell, Tanjong Pagar to Outram Park, also Tanjong Pagar to Raffles Place. All these station on underground. Nowadays the announcement is very soft and the NEW CHIME 2024 is also not loud sometimes. I wish that junita melson was still alive and make the train announcement once again. Her announcement was very good and calm. She was like REAL AND BEST TRAIN ANNOUNCEMENT; and also VERY CLEAN AND CLEAR SOUND EVER. Yeah i miss her voice. Very sad. This is gonna be my 1ST favourite train of ALL TIME. 2nd train will be R151 my favourite. 3rd will be C951 (Downtown Line)
the KNS didnt went to BSD for its retirement. The KNS WAS COMPLETE DEAD. The train was pulled to AMK. Then pulled to Raffles Place for it to go to Tuas Depot. And from there, to send it to the scrapyard. 313/314 will be scrapped soon.
They cant because our mrts in are automatic based and this train is too big for Ampang and Sri petaling lines,and ktm tracks are no suitable for this trains.

But I still glad that I caught one in a changi branch line but it was not set 313 and 314. It was set 349/350. But I still happy there was a new train to enter NSL and EWL , R. I. The reason of it because around November 2nd 2020 the first three generations were likely to be on ewl because nsl has more new trains now that's why they are rarer in nsl compared is ewl and this is the example why c151c is rare on ewl it was caught service on TikTok shorts but it's very rare to spot that train in ewl i think this will all change once the r151 will be on service

For your information, this is actually 339/340 being the first to decommission, not 313/314
They should preserve one C151, one C651 and one C751B just like how the Hispano Habit was preserved
