Hello from the US. Well done! Teaching tab is difficult and you made it easy to understand. I like how you gave options for various ways one could play the song. I’m going to buy the book mostly for my mom’s old favorite of IT’S A SIN TO TELL A LIE.

Thank you Lami, you are very talented ukulelist and this tutorial is great! I am a classical guitar entusiastic and I have a "cavaquinho" (same instrument, with metal strings) that I brought from Brasil same years ago, when I went there for a bankin meeting (I am a retired banking lawyer, by the way). In Brasil and in Portugal, where this instrument was originated they use a diferent tunning and I have been afraid since than because it would eventually confuse my development in guitar, specially in soloing and improvising. I discovered that ukulele uses the same tunning as the guitar at the fifth bar and I thing it is better for me to use the ukelele aprouch to learn this instrument that is largely used in brasilian and capeverdian music. By the way, I am a Mozambican-portuguese guy and live in Maputo, Mozambique. I have been busy the last week learnning this instrument and actually I am looking to learn it by music notarion, because of my backgroung and not only play some chords. Your playing is very smooth and your thecnique with the right and tumb is very interesting making it sound like an harp. I am interested in learning this instrument from the begining in the right way. Can you advise me on a nice method and/or do you give lessons? rui.baessa2@gmail.com
Hey, I'm so glad you finally made a tutorial! Long time ago you inspired me to start playing on the sunny side of the street, i used only your video to recognize notes. Now i have the book and another one - Ghibli scores by Kiyoshi too. it's so relaxing to play these songs.

Sorry...I thought that you sounded like Japanese, but it doesn't matter. The most important that doing it do well.I bought Cordova ukukele straight away after yours videos and started practicing and ordered that book but it would be only in the end of September. Pls can you add to another songs notes...like you did for "All of me"to songs you already put it on RUclips? (Tea for two etc.)

In Intro, C dim7 rather than C dim. And Ebdim7 rather than Eb dim. Their shapes are exactly the same.

Thanks for this tutorial, I'm really enjoying playing this piece which is a big step up from what I've been playing previously - great teaching! I love Mr Kobayashi's arrangements, and will work through Girl from Ipanema next. Unfortunately his books seem to be out of print and unavailable except for a really high price. Do you know if he's planning to reissue them?

I splashed out and bought the cheapest copy I could find. It was £40, but worth it. The only slight problem is that I can't tell from the text whether the arrangements are for high or low G.
