The Bible teaches that the enslavement of foreigners is God's gift to the Israelites. Psalm 2:8 "Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession." It literally uses the same phraseology of Leviticus 25, which says you can keep the heathen as slaves and treat them as inheritance.

One person owning another person as their property is immoral it was then and it still is today. Sorry there are no excuses.
