Thank you for this! This is the only place I have seen with this information. I just bought a 2022 Traverse LT(3) Premium, but had no idea what defined it from the other models. It said LT in the sales description, but now I know it is LT(3) Premium because I have the Leather trim and the Sunroof/Moonroof!
Thank you for this video!! I am a Traverse Gal and right now I am in a 2023 LT that’s blacked out with the Midnight Edition. There are some features that I wanted that mine didn’t come with so now I know what I need to look for the next time I trade in! Very helpful!
I had an Cadillac XT5 company car. It had the same engine V6 Engine. I was pleasantly surprised how quick it was. The Traverse has plenty of power. Cheers!!!
My old 09 duramax that has been deleted gets just as good or better mileage than my 17 Acadia. In the winter the Acadia is much better on fuel because of no high idle. In the summer the duramax is 24-26mpg. It’s nice to have an acadia that does that at all times though
I really enjoy this video! It’s very interesting learning about the different trim levels of this vehicle. I own a 2023 Chevrolet traverse premier in the Iridescent pearlescent pearlescent white Color with the maple brown sugar interior, to me it’s a great combination! I’ve owned it since March I bought it with 7 miles on it and it currently has 14,000 miles on it 😅 I traded my 2022 Chevy blazer premier for it because I had more space for the kiddos but my favorite feature is the mirror and also the adaptive cruise control it really helps in tight traffic😌
Great job. Almost too many options 😀. Need a visual of the LT.. LS1,2, RS Premier, highlander models. Definitely a possibility for a family car. Keep up the great work
Thank you so much, the explanation was sufficient and clear. Unfortunately, here in Abu Dhabi, I just found the modified LT class, which they add rear camera, screens for the second row of seats, the seats were also changed to leather, and there are touches on the front doors and steering wheel
My wife absolutely loves the leather color in her 19 High Country, very pretty brown. If GM doesn’t offer a similar color we might move to Wagoner or King Ranch Expedition. Black leather doesn’t bother me, but my wife is strict on the brown that pops
Oh just picked up a car from Kia and waiting for my #Bolt. Always feel like I get the car and then I’m gone but have no information on how to maintain the car in the future. Thoughts on a future video of what you do in handing a car off as well as what do you recommend we ask when picking up a new vehicle
2:32 - is it the only way to close the hood? I tried to lower the hood, then pushed to close but it did not want to latch. I want to avoid free fall or slamming the hood.
I'm interested in the LS or the LT Traverse and do not want a black interior. Does the LS come in another color like a light gray? Are the door handles on a LS strong or will they break? Thanks for the video, it was very informative.
Dave, wow, finally you need your Halloween bucket for all your keys to compare vehicles. Do you think you will ever need your bucket for Bolt? Great to see inventory coming back slowly.
So from the rs and up the only difference is button to close the back truck auto and power drop back seats ? And finer leather seats ? Jw I’m in market for chevy traverse but just wondering differences I like how on rs they have better rims but on premier and high country they look boring or standard I enjoyed ur video thx for ur time 👍🏽
Who do the Lowe trim levels have a bench seat in the middle? I don’t understand that. Isn’t it more expensive to basically add another seat insted of two captains chairs?
Thanks Dave for the excellent review! It looks like, instead of the chrome accent around the headlight (at the bottom) on the lower models, the Premium version seems to have extra lights. Are those turn signals or daytime running lights? Thanks!
Will the Traverse be all new for 2024 ? When is the production start for the 24 models as I think the 23 model year production ends next month, June 23.
Me and my wife have the RS and we both agreed the chrome around the headlights look really corny. Why Chevy didn't make them black chrome like the grill. We definitely want to replace them.
I have a 2021 Traverse RS. I love everything about it but it has horrible wind noise. I brought it in to the dealer and said it was “normal” Anyone else have issues with wind noise?
Looks like we are getting back to normal. With the price hikes and interest rate hikes, not to mention production getting back to more normal, I expect to see full lots soon. Incentives will follow, just like before 2020.
I like it. Those would do real well here in New Zealand. Enough power in engine to get upto speed yet not too much to get into trouble. It would be a big toss up between the ls model for the middle bench seat or the premier model for the extra's (hands free boot opener, electric back seats etc). With the middle seats, do they flip forward or do they just fold flat? A stupid question. The spare tyre (whoops, tire for Americans ) is it the full size or one of those stupid space saver things?
@@_zoid that's it, they're discontinued. I would prefer the actual g m models. Not some rebadged wana be. Australia gm is no longer making. They're only importing. Which affects us here in New Zealand. The rebadged model's are passed off as top of line model's when they're only the base or middle range model's here in New Zealand (nz).
@@kenbearsley8322 I grew up in the UK but live in the US so I get it. I don't know why companies like GM make some of the decisions they make when exporting popular vehicles. It's like they throw darts at a dartboard to decide what vehicles to offer and what features and trims to remove, then change some of the exterior styling to make sure it looks a little worse than the NA version. Then, when the watered-down imports inevitably fail, withdraw from the market completely.
I don't like the placement of the headlight down to where the foglight is at. To me, it just looks funky. I like my 2018 3LT traverse better. And I got it for 29 grand after tax and fees with just 53000 miles on it.
Good video but never buy this car unless it is a 2018 RS the one year they had the 2.0 4CYL the 3.6 engine in this car is the worst engine ever made with so many timing chain issues that bomb the engine
The WORST Truck Period! Wtf with all of these models? $5000 more not $2500. And then you can’t get the Sirius XM. Great if you were only paying $37,915.00 base LS. 2 colors, no power seats, blah blah blah. So what do you get for $50K you get a giant video screen to distract you from driving! A sunroof and crap that you don’t use or are for the children you don’t have or friends who have their own trucks. 2LT traverse is dumb! It’s a lowered truck. Price tag….$50K YES it is great for tall people (6’5-6’9). Dave I don’t blame you for trying to make $ but you have to make a product that doesn’t scare people away.
If I needed a Chevy I 'd buy from YOU! Keep up making Chevy a CHEVY!
the ice cream showing up in hand after seeing the ice cream truck was cinematic genius.
Man! This is the most detailed Traverse video I've ever seen on RUclips!! You're great!!!
Glad it helped!
Very Detailed, Loved The Ice Cream W/Sprinkles At The End....👍🏻
This is one of the best reviews that I’ve seen. Thank you for breaking down the differences in the trim levels.
I like this guy. Straight to the point, yet thorough.

Very informative video. It’s nice to see what the differences are between the models.
Thank you for the comparisons of the various trim levels. Very thorough .I love the Traverse .
I am looking to switch to a newer Traverse and this gave me plenty of insight. Thank you!
Me too.
Great video, pertinent information, without a bunch of extra fluff.
I really appreciate you making this video.

The smell of a new car, so nice!
No nonsense, to the point video! Thank you Dave!
very good info, I think my wife and I will go with the RS. THANKS
Great video. I'm picking up a traverse Monday!
My wife loves her 2020 Traverse High Country.

Do these have drain plugs on the transmission pan?
Nice work Dave!
If you have a 2023 1LT from the factory can you upgrade any of the trim package extras post delivery at the dealership

Have you received any new Colorado’s? Keep up the great work!
Not yet, we have 4 sold orders that are built.. just waiting for them to arrive
2:32 - is it the only way to close the hood? I tried to lower the hood, then pushed to close but it did not want to latch. I want to avoid free fall or slamming the hood.
Is there a big difference with fwd and awd, what would you recommend ?
My parents love their 2020 Traverse. 55k trouble free miles.

NIce job. Can you explain aero shutters?
Dave, wow, finally you need your Halloween bucket for all your keys to compare vehicles. Do you think you will ever need your bucket for Bolt? Great to see inventory coming back slowly.
No, all of our Bolt's are sold orders so they leave a couple days after arrival.
Thank you for the great info. Are the heated seats in front and back of premiers heated on bottom and back?
Are the RS front seats both power?
Also what are the differences between a RS and premier on the inside, besides cooled seats
On the rs, can you run awd "full time"?
Great video! Now I want some ice cream.
Can you add adaptive cruise control on a 2023 traverse 3LT after you purchased the car already? It didn't come in this model.
Great video thanks
Do any come with Blind Spot Monitor and do they have dealer markups?
Yes I have a 2023 Traverse LT Cloth and it has Blind Spot Monitoring. We paid MSRP but Chevy had a $1,250 insensitive in April 23.
We got ours for $5k off. Haven't seen deals like that in three years. It was a no brainer.
Does the LT have adaptive cruise control ?
I just bought my 23 Lt leather for $42k but however i noticed i am getting very low miles to full tank, 290 miles a full tank, does that seam right ?
So from the rs and up the only difference is button to close the back truck auto and power drop back seats ? And finer leather seats ? Jw I’m in market for chevy traverse but just wondering differences I like how on rs they have better rims but on premier and high country they look boring or standard I enjoyed ur video thx for ur time 👍🏽
Great video. One question, do any of the Traverse trims come with automatic windshield wipers?
Does the Traverse come with a spare tire and where is it located? None of the you tube reviews cover this topic.
In the Chevy website the LS MSRP is $29,595
Middle seat in second and third row doesn’t have a head restraint which is unsafe
what is the Lease for the 3 LT in this day and age?
Who do the Lowe trim levels have a bench seat in the middle? I don’t understand that. Isn’t it more expensive to basically add another seat insted of two captains chairs?

Is the trailer package standard on the Premier?

Yes, standard on 2023 Premier and the vehicle comes with 2 keys

I have a high country and it's lovely, it's so far above the premier IMO
Wow Dave. . . First comment!
What flavor ice cream did you get?
Soft serve vanilla cone

Chevy needs sequential trims and not skip from 1LT to a 3LT.

The manufacturers should give the option to delete third row seating and wiz bang features ie infotainment systems to lower the inflated prices.
