for cooks assistant, to save time: pick up pot from the kitchen counter before you run out of kitchen and then run straight to the chicken pen, on the way to the chickens stop at the farming patch and buy a bucket of compost from the farmer and empty it. It should be faster then going into the general store.

Just got the recolour after about 3 hours, funny enough having the most trouble with x marks the spot (after learning you can use the casket on veos) and with vampire slayer (hitting 1000 0's in the fight), getting the other quests in 2-3 tries. Thanks for the guide!
Hoo damn I am less worried now. Just finished X marks the spot using the same strat you described that I learned from another vid. Kept telling myself if I can't do THIS tf am I thinking going for this but am thankful oddly that it appears to be a universal issue not just local.
Thank you for the guide! One important step you missed; in Below Ice Mountain, after the long cutscene with Atlas you have to go back to Checkal and perform the Flex Emote to continue! Otherwise he will not join the crew and the quest will not move forward!

As someone who only started playing OSRS in ~Sept 2023, this was super easy to follow and understand and I got my graceful recolour yesterday!
Most painful for me was X Marks The Spot but we got there in the end!
For anyone struggling with X like I did: hold space for 2 dialogue screens, then run and spam click(!) so chunk loading doesn’t make you sad. Important to use(!) the crate on him at the end

Hey!, this is what i did last week. that demon slayer one was nearly impossible to get platinum for me because of the dumb wizard.
figured i'd just do another quest to gold for my 1800 points. took me around 40 minutes.
Note to people wanting to do this: make sure you have all your things set before. Buy x1 when using shift click / Disable world hop messages / have your own F-keys set if you used any prior since that screwed me over a few time prior. oh and turn your roofs off again haha

Next up, grab the Diamond trophy, I'm only 1 quest off of it personally, and it's absolute hell- i mean really fun.
DO NOT FORGET TO TALK TO CHARLIE before talking to the cook. I skimmed that part and spent an extra 40 mins ...........Also, after barb training, you need to flex emote in front of checkal to recruit. Solid guide man ty. Now i can run around in style :D

Thank you very much! I used your video primarily for most of the quests listed. Think I watched someone else's for x-mars the spot and black knights temple for a few extra hints and the comments in both your video and the others were incredibly helpful as well. Nothing to critique that I've not seen others critique.
If I had to add anything it would be about the cape of tier 3 adventurers set. Originally it has a neat little stopwatch icon on the cape but once you combine it with your graceful you lose it. With that said you can reclaim another one from the vendor for free for the appearance :>!
The rest of it changes a bit so that's a thing too but the big one is the cape and head slot. Graceful has a mouth cover while the original looks like a porcelain facemask with 2 little eyeholes.

One note for Below Ice Mountain don't forget to go back and speak to Checkal again after the training and do a flex emote.
Great guide, each quest took 4-5 attempts. Couple hours overall.
Gotta love how that DT2 update that opened up that passage near Ice Mountain significantly helped the Black Knight Fortress speedrun unintentionally. Since you now don't have to make that massive loop around Ice Mountain back to Falador.
And speaking of Ice Mountain, for Below Ice Mountain, it is actually should be a bit faster to swing north to the Black Knight Fortress, and then south to get over to Camdozaal compared to running around the south. For anyone who is struggling to get those Plat times for any reason, this can shave off a few seconds if you path correctly.
Took me a few hours but I honestly enjoyed it and I think the graceful looks so much better. Thanks!

I found for vamp slayer that the ranged stuff from the tutor is better (fuck the rng of the fight. got there at 2:40 like 3 times and failed the first 2)

Definitely use the range tutor. I missed it by 1 second 3 times then got it with 10 seconds to spore with the bow.

I found out real quick while doing x marks the spot that this is, in fact, not worth the headache.
Update: USING the casket on Veos WILL skip a dialog and speed it up. Use that.

If you spam click after completing Oddensteins dialogue on Ernest the chicken (at the very end while the transformation is happening) you can skip it and save yourself a second or two
done this twice a couple months ago the best route is platinum all of the very short quests and then temple of the eye.

Temple of the Eye is miserable, due to the rng of the puzzle. Missed plat by less than 10 seconds 3 times in a row and its cuz of a stupid rng puzzle. This is not the play.
Damn. Randomly found this video and said "screw it ill try for it". Little over an hour later and i got the outfit lol. Thanks bro.

So for Below Ice Mountain. I think theres something missing after giving the steak sandwich to marley. im running south talking to Checkal then taking the bronze pickaxe then doing the cutscene. After that i run straight to ice mountain and when talking to willow to go fight the guardian i get a dialouge about asking where Checkal is. From the log it says "flex to prove your worth". Was that part cutout from the video? Thanks
Yeah sorry, I forgot to include that part. You have to use the flex emote at Checkal there.

In Black Knights Fortress, i can't get through the door while the knight is attacking me. I can't get through the dialogue fast enough for the guard to let me through......
what's the point of having graceful on a speed run character? Does the unlock transfer to other characters or something?
You redeem the rewards on normal worlds, you just get the points on speedrunning worlds

If you do all of these quests in platinum time it’s maximum 25 minutes 15 seconds (assuming first try), shave a few second off each quest and that’s below 25 :) You can reset runs from the speedrun main panel (click on any quest name).
Is pathing super important for xmarks the spot? Im doing everything as fast as i can and im still like 3 seconds slow ffs. Im pretty sure im running optimally but idfk 😢
It is quite important. Are you using the casket on Veos instead of talking to him? That saves a couple of seconds
@@lunitarosrs yeah I managed to get it and the others. Gonna try below ice mountain now. Someone suggested temple of the eye so I been trying that for the last hour and the ring of the puzzle makes me want to put my fist thru my monitor lmao. Will not be doing that one again anytime soon 😂
Is it possible to revert back to regular graceful after combining it with the adventurers outfit? Or can this not be undone?

why does earnest the chickens quest helper suck so much? after poisoning the fish food it tells me to grab the spade and get the pressure gauge before the oil can so i dont get the levers downstairs highlighted..
It’s written in an unoptimal order, true. But you can change the step you are on from the quest helper manually while running downstairs to make it work!
I tried it exactly as you did but maaannn I can only get silver 😂 will take a bit longer for my graceful

i just realized something. on the wiki it says if u make gracefull adventuer. u can reclaim as many as you want.
with normal grace if u lose a piece u need to rebuy it. or does it mean u just get the T3 item and then re-use it?
can someone test this?
the adventurer's fit is already a full outfit on its own. u can use it on graceful to make adventurer graceful. so once u buy adventurer's outfit once u can get it for free as much as u want after that, but u would still have to buy the graceful piece (to combine T3 outfit with it)
Love the adventurer's graceful set propaganda, it's literally the best looking style too

Your inventory and stats are preset for every quest, you don’t get to decide what to bring

Petition to rename Vampyre Slayer to Mental Health Slayer because all it is is 50 degrees of RNG just to get to cuck face mc blood sucker to spend 15 seconds staring at "0" pop up.

Vampire slayer is the biggest bullshit I’ve ever seen in RuneScape, and RuneScape is at least 95% bullshit, I haven’t tried demon slayer yet though.
