    Thanks a lot. I have an official travel to Bud coming up soon and your review helped me a lot to choose a hotel away from noisy nightlife.

    Wonderful information! We are planning to go on girls trip to Budapest so it is helpful to understand which area we should choose from your video. Which area hotels would be less noisy (at least from 11pm to 7 am ) and still closer to the pubs and cafes ?

      Thank you! I'd recommend this place which is right around the corner from the famous Szimpla Kert pub but still super quiet: destinationwellknown.com/link/continental-budapest

    Hi! Thank you for your informative video. My husband and I will. be in Budapest for a month. Trying to decide whether we should stay in District I or V. How far of a walk is District I to District V?

    Between castle district and jewish quarter / city centre, which one would you choose to stay in during the peak of winter?

    • @destinationwellknown
      @destinationwellknown  11 месяцев назад +2

      That would depend on what kind of trip you're after, but I would choose a hotel in the city centre during peak winter times in Budapest. Mainly because it can get pretty cold, and I'd want to stay close to a large range of restaurants, other indoor activities, and public transport.

      @@destinationwellknown hmm yeah that was my concern, with the castle district it looks like mostly bus and tram.
      Which train stations on the Pest side would you recommend staying near?
      Do shops, restaurants in general also tend to close earlier on the buda side?

      @@Rukawasendoh117 Yes, exactly.
      I would book a place to stay near Deák Ferenc tér if I went to Budapest in winter. Then you'll be close to everything in the city centre - and it'll also be easy to go to the Jewish Quarter, for example.
      Opening hours vary from place to place, but generally, the Buda-side (around the Castle district) tends to be quieter at night.
