Great Fun! We were on the Sky Princess just a few days after you out of Fort Lauderdale. We made Princess Cays - I think the weather was a smidge better for us on our cruise.
I have seen different groups on cruises and will have to check out group cruises - how to join etc. it is always nice to have a group to sit with and especially do day trips when in port. I am sure it is less relaxing for you both. As you try to make everyone happy etc. but probably lots of time to do your own thing also. You guys are very fast at getting ready and hoping from one thing to another. Have followed some of your port excursions and was wondering 💭 f you pre booked some of your trips to the beach for example- that would be a little challenging?? We always try to find a group to join in with at the port when going to a beach or tour. Anyway bravo to you both

Love your videos I just got back from Caribbean Princess last week I did not like the Chicken nuggets must be processed meat like McDonald’s the meat loaf at the buffet was delicious but the bacon wrapped meat loaf in the dining room was undercooked and hard bits in it I assume bone from the grinding after the earlier show Gary the cruise director invited everybody to Explorers Lounge for the game show but it was packed before the theater got out I will probably do Celebrity next time
Love the group cruise tees (and dress)! Can’t believe they kicked you out of the Vista Lounge AND the app didn’t work! Looked like a great sail-away party, but those waves after you left port 🙈…

We have been seriously looking at HAL for our next group cruise. It is in the running. We have yet to cruise with Celebrity so we feel we need to try them out ourselves before having a group with them.
I vote for HAL!! We will try Celebrity in September for the first time. Will be doing New England and eastern Canada with a group from our Del Webb neighborhood here in South Carolina. I’m praying for good weather. Creme Brulee is also my fave, Jill. You can have it every night on Viking!
Did the experience which you went through at the Welcome Party with the staff officer change your mind about sailing with Princess in the future, or did they make nice and they made up for it to you and the rest of the group while you were still onboard? What a shame that you all had to go through that, especially on what was going to be a glorious (first group cruise) experience which were so excitedly looking forward to experiencing. That could have changed the whole cruise for me, leaving a bad taste in my mouth and memory. Hope the rest of the cruise was bette.
Unfortunately Princess as yet apologize for double booking the space. It has made us look at other cruise lines for potential next group cruise. We are still undecided. We decide to not think about that incident and focused on having a fabulous time with all the amazing people that joined us for a fun adventure.😊
Sorry to say that Princess has gone down hill in the last 3 yrs. We have been Elite with them for at least 10 yrs but the last time we sailed with them and using their medallion which we think is worthless. We always stayed in a suite and those benny have been taken away. We now have changed cruise lines and found things much better. I hope you group had a great cruise and thanks for the chat.
We had a lot of fun. We agree with you and would add that most the major cruise lines that we had cruise with have remove benefits in the past few years.
@@CruisingCanucks Wow. My last cruise on the Regal did not go well from start to finish as we upgraded to Premier when it was first introduced. The shore booking system was not in sync with the ship so it was not recognized until days later and we were charged on a daily basis which means we spent much of the cruise at guest services. We emailed corporate and received $250 each in onboard credit so decided to give Enchanted a try in the summer. If it doesn’t go well it will be my last cruise with them.

I’m pretty sure “first steps” means first steps for that cruise - not ship. So it’s okay to say “first steps” when you board - lol! Great moment, right?
The only time we were on so early was when we did a B2B cruise. We never had to leave the ship. Looking for a bar so early? Are you an alcoholic? Could have salmon at any time. Rolls, where is the Olive Oil? Ah, Mrs. Canuck is having the salmon. Don't like sail away parties. Too many people. When my wife and I took a Celebrity cruise to NE/Canada before we sailed they cancelled a port day. Why didn't you use your monitor instead of mobile phone? Or even just call room service? Ah, leaving from Fort Lauderdale. Better place to leave from than Miami. Like to take the stairs most times as well. Chardonnay is a good white wine and is grown world wide. If nothing else they will have salmon most nights. Wonder if he knows the song from the TV show "The Odd Couple"? You have a group cruise, there are a lot of people on the ship because of the group cruise. You would think they would treat you better. As long as they have lots of good food.
Why were you all kicked out of bar? Rowdy? Fights? I may have missed the reason. 60 people in a party in a bar on Princess cruise? Id hate to be in there. Maybe carnival would be more accommodating. Princess is laid back and more prim and proper in my opinion. I wouldn’t blame Princess. Just be better and move on.
Princess group services had double booked the lounge we had arranged to do a meet and greet. Did you even watch the video - did that crowd at the meet and greet look like a rowdy gang at a bar?

It was a lot of fun. We had a couple people join us that were solo cruisers. 🛳

Very nice group. You never mentioned how the Vista Lounge incident was resolved.
It wasn’t. We went on to make our own fun with a great group and hope Princess would follow up after the cruise (which they haven’t after a month.)

We found the room was a wonderful location however you can hear the band in the Piazza at night time.

We went on a cruise with 17 people and because we didn’t book as a group they didn’t accommodate us as a group. Is that what happened with your group?
They kicked us out of a venue that we had email confirmation from group services to use.
