Plus hey the dumpster can also become a alarm clock in the morning, Slam op it is time to get up and head out the door lol that happens to me all the time I don't know about anybody else but I love it a dumpster is the best tools to have such as a alarm clock.
Well done sir! I very much enjoyed the explanation of the controls and the shots at the transfer station. I didn’t know that Heils had that little canal dug out for cleaning behind the blade. very clever design
Nice video Tha!!! I like the flashers!!! When Allied Waste Services 1227 comes on Thursday mornings after he dumps the dumpster he turns his flashers off!!!
It's a demanding and important job...one that most people never stop to think about. Without men and women like you performing this vital service our communities wouldn't be as clean and healthy as they are so we must give those in this industry the credit they deserve for their hard work and many man hours each and every day.
I love this series! Thanks for all the cool information about how these trucks operate. I actually didn't know a lot of this stuff so it's really helpful. It would be awesome if you could do a hopper video!
Your right thundastorm . When you first start front end loading your not a master without time and also troubleshooting situations like cans be being crooked or learning how to know when to pick up a can or not . Working early in the am an being trained on your surrounding like looking for wires overhead and getting around tight turns . When I first started I knew how to control the truck but learning how to front end was another . Luckily when I dumped my 3rd can I felt that I had a talent for it . Troubleshooting is key in front loading
Nate garbage trucks and lawn care Yep, I found one in 2426 a few years back. He was on the passenger side floor, beneath the fresh air vent. Ran some water through it and flushed him out.
I love that you and I think alike in regards to cleaning behind the blade, same with washing the truck etc, Heil is a good body, but I don't like the tailgate locking system, because I had 11 tons on my truck and the tailgate unlocked by itself and made it to where I had an impromptu visit to the landfill. so when you touched on that issue, I had to shake my head in agreement and brought out how you hit the tailgate lower and lock switch it really made me proud because I am having to do that and be aware of what it may do without any warning as I load it. you are right about confidence and speed, I am getting there, faster than expected, Love the vids brother, keep it up, I think people in general, underestimate the complexity of the commercial front load aspect of what we do and the dangers we face on a regular basis, But those dangers are very real and present.
Love those camera angles man. Wish I could keep making videos but my district manager told me to knock it off. That's okay though. I still get to watch your videos. Keep it up man. Be safe out there.
Damn you guys are always the best because ever since I was 5 years old I have always wanted to work for ANAHEIM DISPOSAL because how you guys always did your magic with operating the trucks when I said that it was back in 2007 (before the merge with republic services in 2013) and now as a 15 year old I will and still would love to work in a front loader for Republic Services of Anaheim in either late 2020 to early 2030 (because I graduate in May of 2020 and right now I'm a sophomore at Katella High School in the AUHSD district) so yeah but as of now I will no longer be filming republic services of Anaheim for a while or either I'm ending my time with Anaheim and moving on to another city of REPUBLIC SERVICES by December 10th by our manager who got all butt hurt with us calling the state on him for not doing any repairs or fumigation in our apartment so now he's evicted us and we have to be gone by Tuesday sorry for the story but still i want to work for Republic Services of Anaheim not for the money but for the memories of the different trucks I work with
Anaheim Disposal Photographer Kevin it's always so cool to know that what we do as drivers influences someone else. I'm honored by what you said. I was the same way as a kid, always loved seeing the front loaders do their thing, now, its a dream come true to be behind the wheel of one. Keep pressing towards your dream😎 Sorry to hear that about your manager. Relocating sometimes can suck.

Well done sir! I very much enjoyed the explanation of the controls and the shots at the transfer station. I didn’t know that Heils had that little canal dug out for cleaning behind the blade. very clever design
trashmonster26 thank you so much. Yep, this model does, but some of the other Heils I have driven did not. Makes it a lot eadier to clean out😎

With the 2014 Le600's with a McNeilius Packer body you cannot see the blade from the window.
C H I'm not a big fan of the wide cabs.
Not so much the cab, but the regeneration stacks I dread. View blockers!
C H the last MRU was like that, the exhaust pipes blocked most of the view through the back glass.

Philip Grice yessir lol, its the one thing I don't care much for on a Heil. Glad to see that you are enjoying front load outside of that though.
Love those camera angles man. Wish I could keep making videos but my district manager told me to knock it off. That's okay though. I still get to watch your videos. Keep it up man. Be safe out there.

David Schieler yeah, these older Macks get pretty loud.
What's with the bear passenger?
James Morrison its to keep people away from the truck in the wee hrs of the night/morning. People see it and think there are two people in the truck.
Good Info Thanks.
