I did this for my dog Luke and his feet were so huge I had to use a lot of clay. He was only a 152 lb lab not fat just enormous! When you called your cat Ellie Mae my dog picked her head up and tilted it at you! She’s an Ellie Mae
I have to put her down tomorrow I had her since I was 8 and I’m 23 now I feel Alone in the world without her she’s the only one I had even in foster care she’s my only consistent in my entire life idk what to do without her

Thank you for this video, I have a question.. I had one of these made for my beautiful dog after she passed, but it seems the imprint isn't too noticeable, will it look better once fully dry? (I just got it today and I was told it takes 7 or so days to fully dry)

A bit weird BUT I’ve been saving my cats fur whenever I brush him with the idea that I’ll find someone to take the fur and make a small felt like cat out of it whenever he passes. He’s only 1.5yrs old now. Have you seen this done? Have you done it? Is it possible? Good idea? Bad idea?
I’ve been doing this as well!! I’ve seen animals made out of the fur that look like your pet. It can be made into a yarn too so you can thread it into something else like a wall hanging. It’s been comforting to hold my deceased cat’s ball of fur.

@@illusion-delusion just long enough to push the foot in the clay. You can do one paw, let her move for a minute, then the next and so on. If it may take for than 5 min, you can place a moist paper towel on top of the clay so it doesn’t get too hard.

I tried foam and got the prints perfect, left it to dry and the foam made the prints more than halfway disappeared because the foam rose like bread I need a different clay that works without a kiln
My dog just passed a couple weeks ago, and I purchased one of these as part of euthanasia package. Horrible sounding I know, I just don’t know how to mount it so I can hang it up. I wanted to put a picture up with her little paw print hanging below. If I had my way I’d hang it from a ribbon, but I don’t know exactly how to go about doing it. It doesn’t have any holes in it.
What is a good sealant to prevent these from crumbling, my memorial paw print crumbled where the easel touched the sides. It's made of baked Terra Cotta.

Yes it is. I have one from my rat. I put all 4 paws in the clay and her tail.

You could us the gorilla double stick mounting tape and put it in a shadow box.
