Great video! Small nitpick: Homer only writes poems about Warriors. As soon as Jen upgraded them to Swordsmen, her culture-per-round should have dropped to one.
Yeah, me too. I thought this game looked interesting but couldn't imagine how it was played so I ignored it basically. Now I know how it runs it's high up on my wishlist.
You goofed slightly at the 13 and 27:30 min. marks when you increased your pop. Moses means you only have to spend one food to increase your pop. It didn't ever hit on corruption I don't think (you would have had 2 less in your reserve). Nice Monty Python reference on the knights btw.
At 39:33 you take a population token from out of the game to add it to your population bank. Are you sure that is how an increase in population is supposed to work? On Page 2 of the rules it says a population increase means moving a token from the population bank onto your unused workers space. It also says that you can never go over your initial 25 yellow tokens.
+Rogan Griffin In the basic game you never get more than 25 tokens. But you don't have territories in the basic game. The + yellow token means you get actual extra tokens in your bank, thus making it easier to keep larger populations happy and fed.
I think at the 43 minute mark you forgot to use one of your white civic uses because that round all you did was do the two actions to make your great wonder and then one action to get Michaelangelo and I don't think you did anything else so you could have gotten the Drama technology.
at the end of each age, only the unbuilded wonder and leader will gone. E.g. End of age 1 and go to age 2, all age A cards will be discard except for future and current event cards.
Great video. Yes designers card for theocracy is flawed. Its humanity's flawed hearts that makes them militaristic. There are alot of peaceful religions that may have slowed down the extinction of humanity. We should be grateful that we're still here. Awesome game
I love your runthroughs, I always want to buy the game when I see one. It´s so much better then all the reviews which tells you how the game is played but you don´t get the feeling. You are awesome :) But you make me laugh when you speak about Universitas Carolina :D It´s latin name, should be pronounced differently. It´s in the Czech Republic (same origin as the game :) ) and I am actually studying at this school. It´s not from the ancient world, it was established in 1348 and the smart guy on that picture is Charles IV, the greatest king our country ever had and Holy Roman Emperor. Not surprised you´ve never heard of Charles University, but I´m little surprised you didn´t hear of him. Anyway no offence, I admire your videos, just wanted to let you know :)
I really like your run-throughs, though I think it would benefit from 2 people with their own separate pof. same content with 2 voices, and most likely less errors. just my point of veiw
Thank you for the video! You motivated me to pull that game out again, after two failed attempts with my friends. It looks really quick once you get the turns right... and playing the variant you were showing looks far better than the basic or war campaign.
I love you excited you get when you realize the possibilities on the table!
LMFAO at the way he pronounced knights at 35:53.
Great video!

Great Video. Made this game playable. Although not sure what a Kigniget is.
