Thought it is all about modularity and flexibility in chassis construction. Want a longer wheel base? Add an extra inch. Never thought these guys would come in from a save-the-planet angle. How environment friendly is a sports car anyway?
Where are the numbers that only talk not the adjectives that only lie?
Where are high level (at least) BOM and Cost Breakdown Structure for their 3D printed racer versus conventional car of similar utility?
I think it would be wonderful if this technology could be merged with the Wikispeed platform. It would be a world beater.
Yea... but I want to buy one now.
Do Divergent 3D license their technologies to a small car company?
And has that 50 millions price mentioned by Mr Czinger dropped significantly ?

Really cool! What exactly is being metal-printed? Is the Joint printed in metal, and then the carbon-fiber tubes are used to connect it together like they say, Legos, but really mean TinkerToys?

But forget the saving the world pitch, that is all a stupid smoke n mirrors scam and makes your company seem gullible.
You should go with the smart money efficient manufacturing and designs of the future angle instead.

An incredible amount of half-trues and lies. There is no such a thing as world-saving manufacturing from an environmental standpoint. It is unfortunate that they cannot focus on reality; the truth: with current technology you cannot mass-produce 3d printed cars. 3D printing is not "cleaner" than other means of production either...
