I was able to acquire 00 Raiser recently, but had to spend ridiculous amount of $ (also in Canada, so the low $ hurts even more lol). But I never realized Metal Build looks so much nicer in person!
One of these days I gotta invest in a metal build. I would really only wanna get the Exia with the Repair III parts. Can't really justify paying the price of a PG for anything other than my favorite mobile suit.
I have the Origin RX metal composite Gundam, he was cheaper than this guy, probably not as much diecast but still a good choice if you can't get this guy. my main concern for Metal Build Strike Freedom Gundam is all the gold paint flaking off. Are you concerned with that Meades?
I like the strike freedom more. There's more details on SF, such as the gold frame. There's also an add-on for the wing effect parts which makes it even better.
Meadeslemicah thank you! One last thing do you know any other good places to buy the strike freedom other than tatsuhobby? I'm more inclined to get this one but every I look it's either in yen or two pricey.
Sadly that's the current trend with Metal Build. Demand is there... but not the supply. You may have to wait if there's going to be a re-issue. So far there's no news of one.
I don't have the figure displayed right now, roughly 9 inches in height (not including wings). Same for weight, I don't really weigh my figures... probably near a pound. It'll always be back heavy due to the wings, hence why it's best to display it with the action base.
I bought my first gunpla/MB the other day. The parts were a bit stiff so I used a bit more strength but it was the opposite way and the little piece on the underside of little armor part above the hand broke off and got stuck into the hole in the hand. Is there any way I can fix this?? I paid nearly 400 dollars for Destiny...
Nice review.. What is thought about the upcoming third party release metal build plus 1:72 scale aile strike gundam by Mo Show? Are you planning to get and review it?
+anthony stark I am tempted to get that, but may have to wait till they release more... preferably a Gundam that I really like. I just got to the point that there's too many to collect. lol. TypeV3 has a great review of it.
+Meadeslemicah thanks to your immediate response...I'll understand you, I've seen your channel.., you have lot's of collection. Anyway, thanks again and I'm looking forward to your next review of upcoming Bandai metal build line....
+lowell yap That's usually the on going price for popular Metal Builds after they get released. Typically they start out at $250... then onwards to $300-$400.
I'm really interested on getting one, but I normally do a ruff and buff on my gundam hobby kits to accentuate the lines and the depth... Do you approve the same method to customize this? or just leave it as is and don't ruin a $400 figure? :p
thank you. yeah, before this i was quite excited to hear about the metal build series. but then, when i watched this i realised that the fun aspect of the assembling process is not there for the metal build. almost bought myself one lol.
I got mine from TatsuHobby, you can check their webstore. This particular one, Strike Freedom, is no longer available... but the recent ones such as the Red Frame is still is.
Just a stiller looking figure! great review Meades! Do you get pre-order notices for items like this? seems like you have to order these types of figures right away because they sell out so fast? is that tatsuhobby site better than Bigbadtoystore?
+Impossible Pie Tatsuhobby is a local store I visit often and been a loyal customer for years now. I usually pre-order there. Otherwise, things i couldn't find there... I go to BBTS or other online stores. Both customer service is great really up to you which you would go for.
As Darth mentioned it's 1/100 scale. I prefer the Orange Destiny (a bit biased based on my fav color. lol) But I prefer the Strike Freedom between the two.
It varies for each Metal Build. I don't recall having one for Strike Freedom, unless I specified in this review. Strike Freedom is one of of my top Fav.
Got it locally through tatsuhobby. Near the retail price around $250 i think.... then some more for the wings. It currently sells for more now and out of stock on most places >_
It sells for at least $400 now. To get a Metal Build (or any other high end Bandai figures such as DX Chogokin line) at the original price you likely have to pre-order which goes out in matter of minutes. Now all we can do is to pray Bandai is going to re-issue the figure.
"i like it" heheh "its nice" hehe "it looks good" hehe..bit annoying buttt :D your reviews are great and ur details are excellent though :) keep up the hard work!
Meadeslemicah i actually really like ur chuckles its refreshing and really brings joy to a review, so thank you for that, but the adjectives are a bit repetitive, hope for your next metal build review you can use a bit more variety :D any plans on reviewing the coming F91?
I had to turn the volume off, u giggle so much even for no reason, its irritating, I just had to make do of this vid because I cant find another review, and if there was another review for this mg s freedom I would never watch ur vid, ever

Hi @meads, is this compatible with wings of light option set?
I just bought it with nice price for $290. Meanwhile other stores still more higher
Are there no show gold gimmick in shoulder and red thing that show gold?
Like a psycho frame? not on its shoulder.
which one have a tighter joint in this line? the orange destiny or strike freedom ?
+Jim They're both the same.... haven't had much issues with loose joints.
What scale would this be? Thanks!
planning to buy 1 i just want to know how tall is he with his base?
I will say the one thing i hate about the metal builds are the sholder armor. I hate the way it connects and flips. Its the one weak point of the line
Bro. Just curious sa strike freedom. May cannon din ba sya sa wings na naihaharap sa may shoulder nya? Kse dba bro ang freedom meron. Hehe thanks bro.
Can i stick on the wings of light (the massive wing add on) onto a plastic strike freedom? Or do i need to get a metal build version?
I don't think the wings of light are interchangeable between this Metal Build and Model kits.
IS the metal build already built? i want to get one but its so confusing lol
Metal build is already built. Only model kit (hence the name) need to be built.
I wish they can reissue this. I can get destiny but not strike freedom and on ebay its so costly
I have the Origin RX metal composite Gundam, he was cheaper than this guy, probably not as much diecast but still a good choice if you can't get this guy. my main concern for Metal Build Strike Freedom Gundam is all the gold paint flaking off. Are you concerned with that Meades?
Haven't had the gold flaking issue yet...hopefully not in the future.
Meadeslemicah I figured that, since it's a brand new release, I hope in the future it doesn't happen it's a really nice looking figure.
I hope they release 1/144 scale, this one is too big and heavy to play with.
Which metal build do you like more from this one and the freedom? Could you give a few reasons why you like one more than the other.

Meadeslemicah exactly! And the ones that are there are priced high! But thank you again for telling me. Much appreciated!
What is the actual height and weight of the kit? Is it having balance issue as well?
I don't have the figure displayed right now, roughly 9 inches in height (not including wings). Same for weight, I don't really weigh my figures... probably near a pound. It'll always be back heavy due to the wings, hence why it's best to display it with the action base.

aw mann
can you do the daban version of this?
Curiosity did strike me to try out that version... but beats the purpose of getting one if I have this one already.

planning to buy 1 mind if i ask how tall is he with his base?
+lowell yap I have him stashed away, but probably 1 feet. or so
+Meadeslemicah i bought him around 299$ is that overprice?
+lowell yap That's usually the on going price for popular Metal Builds after they get released. Typically they start out at $250... then onwards to $300-$400.

The metal builds are already finished, with no need to add any further detail.
Dashingly beautiful comes with a ridiculous price- with nearly 200 USD we can certainly own a PG . I think this should cost about 100-120USD
Not in stock. Will they return?
usually if they do a re-issue with new decals. But this has been done with the SF already.
They're reissuing this one with a SOUL BLUE color at the end of 2018
I believe that's an exclusive, which is difficult to get.
@@meadeslemicah i m already waiting 🙂
i always thought that we need to assemble them ourselves before ahaha, so it's more like buying a figurine then.
this one is the metal build series. it comes prebuilt. but the more common HGs MGs and PGs are all Snap builds.
thank you. yeah, before this i was quite excited to hear about the metal build series. but then, when i watched this i realised that the fun aspect of the assembling process is not there for the metal build. almost bought myself one lol.
I love gundam and strike freedom
yep
Where can I buy these metal models?
I got mine from TatsuHobby, you can check their webstore. This particular one, Strike Freedom, is no longer available... but the recent ones such as the Red Frame is still is.
Just a stiller looking figure! great review Meades!

oh ok you go into the actual store I thought you always ordered online, that's cool, thanks for the info.
Size
how big are they are the same as the mg
Javier Aguilar Javier90 yes, roughly about the same scale
Ok thanks
What grade is it under? Is it under PG or MG? And which do you prefer Strike Freedom Or Destiny?
Carlyle Yevgeny Y. Bacatan it's non grade but 1/100 scale
Darth Nihilus Ohh ok thanks man. :)
As Darth mentioned it's 1/100 scale. I prefer the Orange Destiny (a bit biased based on my fav color. lol) But I prefer the Strike Freedom between the two.
Meadeslemicah ohh ok. Thanks
Soul blue is a improvement
do you clear the nub marks or leave it be
This is a pre-build action figure. It's not a model kit. I do always clean the nubs when I build kits.
the v finn is a bit 2 big
Is it true that there are paint quality issues?
It varies for each Metal Build. I don't recall having one for Strike Freedom, unless I specified in this review. Strike Freedom is one of of my top Fav.
How much for this MB plus shipping and what site you got it from?
Got it locally through tatsuhobby. Near the retail price around $250 i think.... then some more for the wings. It currently sells for more now and out of stock on most places >_
So sad I can't find it anywhere

thanks for the help man
Got this and the WoL looks look - my holy grail!
how big is this figure?
It's as big as the Master Grade, similar scale 1/100. About 10-12 Inches tall (since the wings adds more).
this is 100% metal or there are some plastic parts??
The inner joints are die-cast metal... maybe some outer parts are... but no way near 50% metal.
Are the wing is 100% metal??
This costs over 50000 yen in Japan right now... went with the perfect grade instead
this guy is p bandai ?
The main camera is too big!!
"i like it" heheh "its nice" hehe "it looks good" hehe..bit annoying buttt :D your reviews are great and ur details are excellent though :) keep up the hard work!
Is it the simple/repetitive adjectives or the chuckles? Sadly, that's just how I am. lol.
Meadeslemicah i actually really like ur chuckles its refreshing and really brings joy to a review, so thank you for that, but the adjectives are a bit repetitive, hope for your next metal build review you can use a bit more variety :D any plans on reviewing the coming F91?
He he
Why is it so expensive....I CANT AFFORD IIIIT
What a beauty. Too bad it's too expensive for us peasants to afford
Why do you refer yourself as a peasant? Never belittle yourself. I once was short on money, but worked hard to get to where I can afford them.
Nah you should buy daban one
You choose to either be a peasant or a King. I chose to be a King. It takes work tho.
Meadeslemicah thank you for your encouraging words. I appreciate your reply.
wow.. I am such a nerd. I love it.
dang, i want it, I F*CKING WANT IT NOW !!!!
Grabe nalula ako sa presyo
SWIVEL HERE
A gundam you don't build is like a transformer you can't transform. It feels wrong...yet So right. (At least when it looks good...)
what?! lol. I'm actually more keen with posing the figure. I'm okay not building nor transforming them. But that's just me.
the way you talk.. are you filipino?
kabayan!
Meadeslemicah sabi na. hahaha. kabayan!
Its 500 dollars no wtf (=ಠ ل͟ ಠ=)
I bought it when it was first released... it was below $300.
Worth it.
Metal build is so expensive!!!!!!!!!!!!!
+Kaiwen Shi even more if you live in Canada (like me) with the exchange being so bad now!
+Impossible Pie I bought a metal build exit for $270 Singapore dollars. So ex
Oh... I thought you build it. That's kind of a turn off
You pilipino
I had to turn the volume off, u giggle so much even for no reason, its irritating, I just had to make do of this vid because I cant find another review, and if there was another review for this mg s freedom I would never watch ur vid, ever
That gundam suck three zero got the best
