FYI Best Buy currently has it on sale, I paid $112. Can you explain what the trickle charge is and how to use it? I would like to charge my laptop, fitbit watch and phone at the same time.
thanks for your information. may i know can i dual charge at the same time charge the power bank.
hi does this powerbank support power delivery ??
@dandon1105yes it does
If you really need a powerbank spend the money on this. I tested 11 others including all Mophie’s available in the similar range. I leave this in my truck and it powers a hotspot and two AC infinity fans to cool the hotspot for 3 days at a time 24/7 and still has two levels of battery left when I swap to another.
My button broke inside of my Mophie. I have to use a pen to push the power button.
hi does this powerbank support power delivery ??
I thought I was crazy thinking one end of it was lighter than the other, so thank you for confirming I’m not crazy!
Can this power bank safely charge Nintendo Switch and Nikon Z series cameras with Type-C USB?
The following are the compatibility equipment listed on Anker official page. Sadly there is no information about the Nintendo Switch or Nikon Z. Personally I think the Nintendo switch would charge without any problems. The Nikon Z I do not know. You can always ask through customer support through Ankers official page.
Compatibility List:
Laptops: MacBook Pro 13.4'', Dell XPS 13 9380, Microsoft Surface Book 2, Google Pixelbook, Samsung Notebook 9
Phones: iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 13 Pro Max, iPhone 13 mini, Samsung S21, Google Pixel 4
Tablets: iPad Pro 12.9'' 2020, iPad Pro 11'' 2020
Low-Power Devices: AirPods, Apple Watch
Going to Disneyland tomorrow and need one to charge 2 iPhone 12 Pro Max and an iPad Pro 12.9.
It’s between this, the 737, and the 733. Can you help me with your opinion?
Both are great options. Its personal and budget.
Any idea why I connect it to my 86 W dell xps 9500 and it says "charging at a slower rate"? Also, I bought one at BestBuy and didn't come with the plug for a receptacle so may return and buy one from Anker site that comes w/ a plug
So, this recharges at 45W, and only takes 2 hours to recharge?
it charges at 65W
65W/hr * 2hr = ~130Wh minus the drop in charging watts at it gets close to 100% and other losses should put it right under the 100wh limit for airplanes
@@breakfast-burrito hey adam can we use 120watt adaptor(xiaomi 11t pro charger) to charge this
Do it charge a 12.9 iPad and a Samsung cell phone
Which solar panel have you paired with this power bank? Looking to get one.
Thanks for the review.
SunJack 25 Watt Foldable IP67 Waterproof ETFE Monocrystalline Solar Panel... LOVE IT!!!
@thebreakdownwithluke. You mentioned you use a solar panel to charge this powerbank. Can you drop down the link the you use?
Search my youtube channel I have reviewed multiple solar pannels.
How is this different from the Anker Powercore Elite 3? Looks like same specs but the Elite 3 doesn’t include the wall charger.
I also wanted to know this
Can you please tell me if its good for my hp convertible pavilion *360 14-dyoxxx model? The voltage on my charger is 19.5v. Is it ok? I am affraid of making damage... Thanks
I try to use my power banks for emergencies only but how many cycles does this have?
Can I use this during a flight?
Yes, it's under the 100Wh limit
I have samsung S21 and that power bank can not charge my phone in super quick charge mode. I use type c ports but still can charge full speed like my normal wall charge or mi 10000mah power bank ultra compact 3. If i use mi power bank with usb c, i can get super quick charging, but from this Anker i can not. Also mi power bank is a lot of faster then this Anker. Can you tell me why?
Samsung has a special charging spec they use called pps, if the charger doesn't have this you get reduced speed
Do you know how many volts the trickle charging mode puts out?
Thanks for the informative video! My phone usually dies in extreme cold weather ... do you know if this power bank will die in cold weather?
Cold weather reduces performance of all batteries. Though it will still work at a reduced capacity. Should be plenty of power to charge a phone Even in cold weather though.
Finally someone answered the dumb question I was searching for. Which was can I plug my iPhone to the type c outlet. Great video thank you!
Yes if you get a USB-c to lightning cable.
Does the battery pack "pass through" charge? Will it power electronics while the battery pack itself charges?
As I understood it from support any discrepancy in the chargers output and the banks imput caused some issues so they removed it.
If you are talking more like will it continue to charge your device while it is charging yes but expect it to be warm as the power is going through the battery
Yes it charges and powers my Nintendo Switch at the same time. I’m sure it depends on what exactly you’re powering though…
how can i charge the power bank/battery itself? i connected to the wall but it felt like it took forced to charge. it was connected for over an hour and it didn’t go over a dot at all.
If you plug it in using the USB charger that comes with it, it should charge the device. If you're using a slower charging port, it can take a very long time. I recommend using the one that came with it.
@@TheBreakdownWithLuke can we use 120 w adapter to charge this
Bruce Willis does powerbank reviews ???
Any idea how many times it will charge the steam deck?
Sorry I am not sure I don't have a steam deck so can't test it.
I'm not sure I'm really doing this right, and some people even say mAh is a useless unit of measurement because it doesn't account for voltage. I dunno, I'm not an electrical engineer, so take this with a grain of salt.
iFixit says the Steam Deck battery is 5313 mAh. This bank is 25600. Simple division says that would charge the Steam Deck about 4.8 times. Due to inefficiency, that may end up being closer to 4 times than to 5. If anyone more knowledgeable wants to chime in and tell me why I'm totally wrong, feel free.
I ended up purchasing this power bank for my steam deck. It can charge it approximately 2 times from 0-100. If you are close to 0 battery on steam deck and plug it in and continue to play it will charge your steam deck completely once while you are gaming.
@@eric72593 Yeah, that's consistent with what I've found using mine.
Was looking for this comment. Thanks. Btw I've seen ppl strapping power banks to the back of the steam deck. Am I right to assume this is tad too big for that. 😅 Would probably hurt wrists also.
Subbed. Thanks for the review.
Mine only has one usb c port…
Not the 747
Can this power bank meet FCC guidelines for flying
It is approved for carry-on only. You cannot put in checked bags.
Yes, barely. The maximum in carry on luggage is 27000mah.
This thing is great , be careful, I toasted my iPhone 15 battery , I fell asleep running rumble app and Pokémon go. , I woke up and the phone was hot as F. Reduced the capacity by like 10% over night
my box didnt came with adaptor
Same, but luckily I have quite a few of them :)
@@sRecollet im charging it with 120 w adapter thanks to xiaomi
@@alperm5321 Yea, I found an 87W adapter from Amazon that I ordered. Had it charged all night and then some with my charger now. At first I thought it wasn't working 'til I read can take like up to 10/12 hrs if not strong enough adapter, all good though :)
@dandon1105 Yes. I haven't used it all the time but enough. Came in handy quite a few times when away from the house. I'm not sure but off the top of my head felt like damn near 2 hours. But that was just the first time, everytime I used it after first charge I just used a little so never had to do a full charge twice.
@dandon1105 oh ya, sorry, was gonna mention that. Don't worry, always use good ones. It was either 30w or 87w. I'm pretty sure. I hope I was smart enough then to use those and not the regular ones.
The color grading on this device really put me off when I saw it I thought something was wrong with it like it being oily. But would've preferred the dark aluminum
Thx
This thing is a piece of shit. It stopped working on me. I charge the powerbank and it lights up. But when i charge my phone it does nothing
Mine was expensive when I bought it and I'm angry it stopped working. Instead of it to charge my phone, my phone charges it.very strange
Bruce Willis is in great shape!
Hello. My power bank while charging Power itself does not charge other devices. Are you like that too? Its powercore III ELITE 26K, 87W
I would contact Anker for help I don't have that issue.
I have the same issue
Me too, and now it’s stop working at all, how to reset it
@dandon1105 yes, when i connect my phone or any device to charge it doesn't charge or make any response, when i plug it to electricity it looks like charging but nothing happened and all light dots keep flickering around
@dandon1105 i used it to change my phone only
