What Calvinists call "the Golden Chain of Redemption" is actually "the Iron Chain of Deception"...
Kevin, thanks for your content. Repeating things you've said before is profitable for me and I'm sure for other former Calvinists, and can be helpful to those who are Idealogically possessed by Calvinism, helping them to see the Scriptures from a different perspective. Abandoning a long held belief like Calvinism doesn't just happen instantaneously, it's a long process, and repeating how Calvinists must abandon Scriptural authority to support Calvinism can only help those under Calvinism and is never in vain
There is only one chosen from the foundation of the World, that was Jesus.
And everybody else only in him. I like this Christ-centered teaching. It redirects me to my savior and makes me rest in awe of his love.
I don’t think that’s what the NT authors are teaching. They’re actually teaching that all people are chosen, from the foundations of the world.
Brother, this video is extremely helpful. Thank you sir.
Thanks for the feedback.

Thank you very much.
If only my two brothers would watch your videos. They dont even want to hear what i have to say about calvinism anymore. They're so hardened that they refuse to watch any "anti calvinist" videos about any of their proof texts. It's very frustrating trying to get them to see what scripture is actually saying.
Perhaps a different angle might catch their attention…?
Why I'm "Reformed" And Why You Should Be Too

Hey Papilote, that sounds tough. Hang in there. You’ve got the right understanding.
@TheRomans9Guy Yeah, I've just been praying for them. I had suggested this channel to one of my brothers, and he saw like one video and wrote it off. I shared one of Kevin's videos with my other brother, and the first one immediately jumped in and told him not to watch it because it's another "anti calvinist" video. I had asked that same brother how is 2 Peter 2 1-3 consistent with calvinism. I asked him to give me his interpretation for months, and since he never did, I just told him to look up a calvinist interpretation of those verses that he agrees with and send it to me. Took him about a day to send it to me, and after watching it, I called him to talk about it and he told me not to bother because we aren't going to agree. He didn't even want to hear my thoughts about it. They were very open to having conversations when they brought their "doctrines of grace" to me but it seems after they realized they weren't going to convince me and especially when I brought very strong arguments against those doctrines, they immediately shutdown. Sorry for the lengthy response lol.
@@papiloteBoy Definitely. I’ve found that when people are being illogical, instead of presenting them only with logic, I likewise go illogical but I go 180 degrees opposite. I’ll make an outrageous claim the other way, something opposite of what they expect. Like, they expect that Calvinists are the only ones who are intelligent, the only ones who believe in sola scriptura, and the only ones who believe in God’s sovereignty over man. So I’ll say things like, unfortunately, Calvinist theologians are the least educated ones. Calvinism strays far from scripture and if we practice sola scriptura it disproves Calvinism. And one of the ones I like the most, Calvinism is a man-centered doctrine that denies the sovereignty of God. That one gets them. Very often Gets them to stop blathering and ask ‘what in the world are you talking about?!’ Then the real conversation begins.
Thanks!
Thank you in depth analyze, very helpful. 😊👍🙏🌷
short and clear, hit the key point.
It is certainly a wonderful revelation and freedom when you break free of the oppression you've been under im relation to others image of God and what knowing him and following him must look like. The back loading of unecessary rules and the gas lighting there in is cunningly set, the pious condescendingly sanctimonious delivery further chains people to this deceptive burden of slavery.
May God continue to open his children's eyes and ears to knowing him as he is
on point
Calvinism destroyed again by reading the context, how surprising 😁
WHAT is predestined, Not WHO.
Does Kevin still have an email where he takes questions ?
predestination is true, but does not mean predetermined.
Was Christ Predestined or Predetermined that he will die for our sins?
Highlighted reply
@chanano1689
predestined.
just like Adam and Eve were not predetermined to sin.
Calvinism believes in puppets.
@@donhaddix3770 will you agree the predestination often means or is more commonly used in theological or philosophical discussions and often carries a connotation of divine or supernatural intervention. It implies that an ultimate power or deity has determined in advance what will happen, especially regarding the eternal fate of souls or the unfolding of history. In religious contexts, it often involves the concept of fate or destiny that is beyond human control.
@@chanano1689intervention in response to freewill actions. response to actions. not scripting all actions and outcomes.
@@donhaddix3770 can our free will override the intervention of God. Was it possible for Herod to kill the baby Jesus or was it possible for the Jews to accept Christ and impede his death?
So, you're saying Christ completed work is insufficient. This is heresy both to Armenians and Calvinists. Repent and believe fully in the work of God's grace through Jesus Christ.
See our video on moralistic manipulation and then come back and try again like an adult.
God is Love hence “Double Predestination” is false.
@@marteld2108 if you follow the logic and believe that we will live eternally in the or apart from the presence of God, then you believe in double predestination. The only difference is whether you believe God, who knows all things, gives you a real or imaginary choice.
@@KevinThompson1611 I doubt I will watch any videos from someone who uses poisonous ad hominem rhetoric against those who I would consider brothers, even though I may disagree with them.
@@johnh6487 Love doesnt damn people from all eternity. Its a clear contradiction.
Thanks!
Thank you!
