I didn't like the video. The satire comes across as "poking" or making fun of the King James Bible. But what if you are wrong? Then what? There is a playlist on my channel of about 80 videos, showing that the new Bible versions do corrupt the word of God. I suggest that you take a look at the playlist and watch some of the videos.

Isn't this ridiculous? The THIRD HEAVEN WHERE I LIVE; this is MOUNT ZION, and surely it is. (Why do I say it is certain?
Because what I am saying now cannot even be understood by man; He can only LISTEN to it. It is beyond the SCOPE OF HUMAN THOUGHT, so I will say nothing more about SION, lest people treat it as a mere fiction.)
When I RETURN to SION, those on earth will continue to praise Me as before. SERVANTS WILL WAIT as before to SERVE Me, but their DUTY IS DONE.
The best they can do is to reflect on the state of My presence on earth.
At that time, I will begin to bring down great calamity on those who will suffer calamity, but everyone believes that I am a RIGHTEOUS GOD. I will certainly not PUNISH those FAITHFUL SERVANTS, but only LET them RECEIVE My GRACE.
Because I said when I WILL PUNISH ALL EVIL PEOPLE, and those who DO GOOD WILL RECEIVE THE MATERIAL JOY I grant, that I AM THE GOD OF RIGHTEOUSNESS and FAITHFULNESS. 🙏
Upon My RETURN to ZION I will begin to RETURN to every NATION in the WORLD; I WILL SAVE THE ISRAELITES and STRENGTHEN the EGYPTIANS. This is the next step of My work.
My WORK at that TIME will be DIFFERENT than it is NOW: it will NOT be the work of the human body, but it will COMPLETELY OVERCOME the human body--and WHAT I HAVE SAID, that WILL BE; and WHAT I HAVE COMMANDED, that WILL BE. 🙏
Whatever is said, as long as it COMES FROM MY MOUTH, IT WILL ACTUALLY COME TRUE IMMEDIATELY; this is the TRUE MEANING of the WORD of what I SAY and its FULFILLMENT is AT THE SAME TIME FULFILLING, because My WORD ITSELF is AUTHORITY. 🙏
I am now saying some obvious things, to give the people of the earth some hints, so that they do not grope in the dark. When that time comes, I will set everything in order, and no one should be stubborn, lest My hand overturn them. To the IMAGINATION of PEOPLE, EVERYTHING I SAY IS VALUABLE, because, AFTER ALL, MAN'S WAY OF THINKING IS LIMITED, and MAN'S MIND IS VALUABLE to what I have said, as far as heaven is from earth. So no one understands it.
The ONLY thing that CAN DO is conform to what I SAY; THIS IS THE INEVITABLE COURSE OF EVENTS. I already said it:
"In the last days, the beast will come out to persecute My People and those who fear death will be branded to be swept away by the beast. Those who have seen Me will be killed by the beast." 🙏
THERE IS NO DOUBT the "monster" in these WORDS REFER TO SATAN, THE DECEITER OF MANKIND.
That means, when I return to Zion, a large group of servants will withdraw; that is, the beast will sweep them away. All these beings will go to the eternal abyss to receive My eternal chastisement. 😥
"THOSE WHO HAVE SEEN ME" refers to the faithful servants whom I have conquered. "SEEN ME" refers to My defeating them. 🙏
"THE MONSTER WILL BE KILLED" refers to Satan, whom I have conquered, who does not dare stand up to fight Me. In other words, Satan will not dare to do any work on these servants, SO THE SOULS OF THESE PEOPLE HAVE BEEN SAVED; 🙏
This is said because of their ABILITY to be FAITHFUL to Me, and it MEANS that those FAITHFUL SERVANTS WILL RECEIVE My GRACE and My BLESSING. 🙏
So I SAY THEIR SOULS ARE ALREADY SAVED. (This does not refer to the ascension to the third heaven, which is only human understanding.)
BUT THOSE WICKED SLAVES WILL BE BOUND AGAIN BY SATAN AND AFTER BE THROWN INTO THE ETERNAL Abyss.
THIS IS MY PUNISHMENT ON THEM; THIS IS MY REWARD TO THEM, and THIS IS THE RETURN FOR THEIR SINS.
As My work accelerates, My time on earth gradually decreases. THE DAY OF MY RETURN TO ZION IS NEAR. When My WORK on EARTH is FINISHED it is time for Me to RETURN to ZION. I did not even want to live in the world but for the sake of My rule, for the sake of My plan, I ENDURE ALL THE SUFFERING. 🙏
NOW, THE TIME HAS COME. I WILL SPEED MY ACTION, and NO ONE SHALL BE ABLE TO HELP ME. Whether man understands it or not, I will tell you in detail everything that man does not understand, but you must know on earth. Therefore, I SAY that I am GOD HIMSELF, who RULES TIME and SPACE. IF IT WAS NOT because of MY PURPOSE TO OBTAIN THE FIRST-BORN CHILDREN and thus OVERCOME SATAN, I WOULD HAVE RETURNED TO ZION; otherwise, I would not have created mankind.
I HATE THE WORLD OF MAN, and I HATE THE PEOPLE AWAY FROM ME, and I even THINK of exterminating the entire human race once and for all. HOWEVER, My WORK has ORDER and POWER, it has BALANCE and MODERATION, and it is NOT hasty--hasty.

I just do not trust westcott and hort, after discovering more about them. I also do not trust tishindorf. I believe you can get saved from the newer translations , so in that sense I'm not KJV only , but I do believe the KJV is the preserved word of God in English for English speaking people.

Don't waste your time with translations. The original text was lost. Jesus was an Aramaic speaker which means no guarantee of accurate translation to Latin or Old Greek. Faith must be with reason.

@@GrAYvTrAnE Well to be fair we have to say the flock of goats thing comes from the original Hebrew poetry, since the NIV and the CSB both have it when you read Song of Songs, so it's not just the KJV. 😂... Maybe he should have said something about the "cockatrice," since that is a distinctively KJV thing. 😂
I will say for the most part I enjoy the KJV, but it is a mental exercise to read.... Especially when you get to books like Job and the prophets. I find myself getting mentally tired after about an hour of reading, which isn't the case with other translations. But I will always prefer the poetry in the KJV. The newer translations just take the beauty out of the poetry and render it staid and dry in their attempt to really simplify everything. But I understand that there's always some give and take. Bible translation is a hard job.
From what I understood, goats were typically black with long hair. Also, a flock descending down a hill, from a distance, would also look like a woman's locks descending from her head down over her shoulders 😃

I've grown up with only KJV. It really helped with my overall reading and the speed at which I process words.
Stick with it for it is perfect. I am disgusted at this song and all the people who applaud it. Those that are born again and know God preserved his word in the KJV stand for HIS truth.
The reason the KJV was created is the reason new translations have been formed, to put the word in the modern language of the common people to the best of our ability. Language is a moving target. You fight against yourself and know it not.
St Paul plainly warns against your conduct on numerous occasions. Perhaps it is a matter of reading comprehension that you are unaware if this.

I'm new to Christianity and the bible. I'm studying the KJV and love it. I don't struggle to understand it. I think that's down to a lifetime of Shakespeare, Hardy, Tolkien and Chekov.

I believe the Lord prepared me too by reading the similar books, Macbeth in Highschool, LOTR, Dune, before I became a Christian to back in '97.

If you like the kjv that’s wonderful. The issue is if a 20 year old wants a bible and we hand them a kjv , there isn’t even a dictionary out there that can explain the words because it’s so old .
If we say ONLY the kjv then we’re literally hindering people from learning the Bible .

So, I'm a KJB only Independent Baptist, but I've noticed that both camps tend to mess something important up.
I believe we're in the Laodicean church age. The last times. The church in this day in age has become very Luke warm. The non-kjv Christians tend to focus on the love. The most important commandments, however because of a lack of importance placed on correct doctrine and bible division liberalism and modern ways of thinking have grown in the modern churches.
In contrast, the KJV Christians place such high importance on doctrine and right division. As they should. However the natural downfall of this, is that they tend to be too judgemental of their brethren who don't place as high importance on those things, and it becomes difficult for them to exercise love; the greatest commandment. They forget that we are all fighting on the same side, because many have been taught that people who follow a different doctrine aren't right with the Lord, or perhaps even heretics.
Galatians is a good proof that just because a church may fall into a heretical belief it doesn't necessarily make them heretics. They were still considered brethren and referred to as a church.
So, there's a group that focuses more on love than the laws of God, and a group that focuses more on the laws of God than the love of God. Both are imbalanced.
I should be able to hold my beliefs and doctrines without compromising my love for the brethren, and vice versa. If one fails to exercise the love of God, then he will never truly be following the laws of God as he ought. Likewise if he fails to follow the laws of God then he can never truly love God as he ought. The devil has weakened the church by dividing them in this very way.
If KJV believers would deal with more kindness and compassion then their message would be more effective.

I fear this may not be a very accurate assessment. Not nearly at all. Maybe some church groups that are dogmatic on KJV are also dogmatic on other things but there's the roughly 90 per cent of the rest of the world who use other translations. (Hint: Non English speaking.)
I'm a pastor and teacher and have to open my English speaking crowd to this insight amongst other things. KJV has flaws as other translations may but some may actually be more accurate than it.
I was once only KJV but know way better. And I don't like sides that lie to defend a thing. (Hint: The scholars were always aware that other countries used other translations not necessarily from the exact same source King James commissioned!)

The reason some of us are 'obsessed' about what version we use is because without the Word of God, it is like we are stumbling in the Dark. The 'Scholars' of your modern Bibles use Romanist garbage, which the Saints of the Reformation were right to reject.
The Blood of thousands was shed to preserve the Word in English and our Brothers and Sisters had no problems using that Preserved Word for 400 years. Wescott and Hort's trash heaps need changes every decade; and none of your 'Modern' Bibles ever survive longer than the time it takes for the "Scholars' to make another Version to sell you.

I've got some friends who think like this. They gave me a KJV for graduation a few years ago, and now it's the only version I read regularly, but I don't care if other people read another version. Salvation is still salvation; it doesn't depend on the translation you read.

Personally, I read the kjv exclusively, but its more because thats the version I've heard for most of my life. Its to the point now when I read passages that are in more modern translations my brain instin tively puts in the "thy"s and "thine"s. Theres something about that style I just really like for biblical passages.

I am so glad I am Greek and I can read the prototype itself. Yet, the most important is the explanation of the Bible through the Holy Spirit. We Orthodox, do not trust ourselves but we accept the explanation of our holy fathers and saints.
I write all of my daily devotionals in cursive on a hand-made leather journal using KJV. 1. It’s the version I grew up having read to me. 2. It makes me feel closer to God. Yeah I mean you can always just compare verses on most Bible apps and see that most translations are just a simpler and more modern or sometimes clarified ways of wording the same thing.

I’m a KJV fan because I like the way it’s written. I don’t care if people use other translations of the Bible. The meaning hasn’t changed, just the translation.
When we translate the Bible into Chinese, we don’t demand the Chinese use their language from 400 years ago. So why do American Christians demand we read from an outdated English translation? It is the most arbitrary thing ever.
The older the version of the English, the better. I've found conflicting and contradictory translations in modern English.
Newer versions will say they change to keep up to date with modern English but this can be very dangerous. Especially the world we live in now.

The age of the language is not exclusively the issue and is rather a red-herring in the grand scheme of things. Modern Bibles are translated from a different line of manuscripts so will have completely different readings or verses no longer included. My wife is Cantonese, and will only use the Chinese Union Version, not the Chinese NIV; for the very same reason that I as an English speaker will only use the KJV.
I appreciate the variety of translations and can find practical purposes for most of them. A variety can also improve interpretation in some instances. We are blessed ~ thank you 💞
Don't waste your time with translations. The original text was lost. Jesus was an Aramaic speaker which means no guarantee of accurate translation to Latin or Old Greek. Faith must be with reason.
