So many great tips Rebecca. Haven’t yet started the ranunculus but feel ready to have a go now with your support. Thank you Thank you Thank you. 🙋🏼🏴
Can’t tell you how much I’ve enjoyed (and needed) these videos. I’ve enjoyed knitting the ranunculus so much but I couldn’t have done it without you, you are such a lovely generous teacher. Thankyou. ❤
Thank you immensely for your incredible help you gave me through this "Ranunculus" journey. Without it I wouldn't ever have been able to complete the project. Huge gratitude, my friend ❤❤❤
Thank you so much for these videos, they've been so helpful! For this bind off I took off the interchangable needle to use freely and put the stopper on the cord (just mentioning incase this helps anyone else who doesn't have another right-size needle to use). I'd love to see a video with diagrams to explain why the twisting works to make this bind-off extra stretchy.
I finished this beautiful sweater this morning. I have to really thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️. Some of the stitches seemed to really perplexed me but once you explained it. Yea that’s easy. Why do I over think it. I am definitely going to make it again. I don’t know if I could have done it without you. I made it with short sleeves. It’s perfect for a summer flowing sweater. I had my doubts. Big time. Thank you again. Kim
Thank you so much for this excellent support videos. They greatly enhanced my knitting of this fabulous pattern. You made some of the techniques such a reinforcing bonus. I always doubt my own skills in following patterns and like to see the techniques. The pace and clarity of your videos were spot on. My almost completed Ranunculus has been one of my major goals for a few years. I am almost there, just working on the bind off and like you had to play a bit of yarn chicken. I am so happy to have almost achieved its completion. I would love to see your videos on the Fairy Bouquet jumper by Joanna Ang. I think it’s been described as the Ranunculus Big Sister. It’s a wonderful project. I have saved up for the yarn to give myself a huge treat. Your technique videos would be the icing on the cake for this glorious project. Please consider giving this a go. Thanks and regards from Australia
Thanks very much for the series on the Ranunculus. I have the pattern, the yarn and now watching this am ready to jump in! You do an excellent job of patiently teaching.
Such a great series of videos! I started the ranunculus on my own and stumbled on this series. I am so happy to have found you. Great instruction! Thank you so much.
Thanks so much. I referred to a few of your videos as I worked through some of the trickier bits and they were so helpful. ❤ I’m definitely doing a second one, and I expect I’ll be peeking back in on them!
I bought this pattern a year ago after seeing it on almost every knitting podcast that I watch. However, I have been too intimidated to get started. Your tips and tricks have eliminated that stress, though I will admit that I am working my way through the pattern and your videos using an acrylic blend just to gain some confidence. I have yarn set aside for the "real" sweater.
Thank you so my for these vídeos 🙏🙏🙏🙏 Without them I would not be able to do my ranunculus!!! Havent done the sleeves yet but, for sure will be able to finish them next week. Feeling confident to try the two at a time metod😊🤞🤞🤞 Would love to see another sweater knit a long🙏 Im in love for the Easy V by Caitlin Hunter.
Hi Carolina, thanks for the feedback and appreciation! Moving forward, a lot of my video series will be based on what we are doing in the shop, and if I have permission from the pattern writer to make videos. A lot of people have asked for a lot of different patterns, especially sweaters.... I can always add it to the queue, bot cannot guarantee the pattern you want will be the focus (I'm doing this on top of the full-time job of running my LYS). Check and see if Caitlin Hunter has videos on parts of her pattern, she's a fantastic pattern writer! We may circle back to another sweater at some point, but I'm not sure what it will be........❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you this was so helpful! I watched the originator of the technique and she never moves her yarn because the twist automatically brings it towards the front or the back so I was able to do this technique but not let go of my yarn or move it first as an English knitter.
Thank you so much for this instruction video there’s no way I could’ve figured it out on my own. I’ve been eating for 20 years so that tells you how crazy these instructions seemed. Thanks again
👍definitely why I suggested it….. when I was learning on camera it was hard not to catch the cable! Another needle, even a straight or dpn, should be awesome. Glad it worked for you :) ❤️
Thank you so much for doing these videos, they are so helpful. Just wondering which bind off is better, this one, Lori's twisty bind off or Jeny's stretchy bind off. Not sure which one to do. Thank you.
Hi Fran- hard to say which one might be better, if you have the time and energy you may want to test on a swatch….. maybe whichever you know better is fine! ❤️
Might as well take off the needle if possible and put a stopper on the end of the cable to prevent stitches from coming off. Or take a needle from another set. But thank you for explaining everything😊 I'm knitting this as my first sweater❤
. Thank you so much. The ranunculus pattern has been very enjoyable to knit, thankfully because of your instructions. She has done a terrific job with this pattern, it is amazing. However because of the very slight misinterpretation of the English language, by her or by me, I had quite a few misses. Thankfully you filled in these gaps in my interpretation. I consider myself a competent knitter, but I just didn’t get certain instructions. I have learnt a lot with her pattern and I am looking forward to knitting another. Thanks again ❤❤❤
Hi Judy, that one is not on our current make-a-long list, and making these videos for another sweater can be challenging- I made a video on that overall topic! Andrea Mowry might have some videos?
Thanks for the suggestion Daniele! We have a lot of shared ideas, and I add them to my list, though we might not be able to get to them all. If we do another sweater kal I’ll see if it’s possible to have a wider range of sizes: also I always like to prepare people a kal does not always mean a series of videos, it depends on the pattern and moving forward if I have permission from the pattern writer to do so! ❤️
I'm going to use a Double Pointed Needle.
TY

I think it was Amy Palko who described the Fairy Bouquet as the Big Sister of Ranunculus. Just want to set the record straight.
I definitely loved this series…thank you! I have the pattern and am currently working on it and these videos help a lot!!
Thanks very much for the series on the Ranunculus. I have the pattern, the yarn and now watching this am ready to jump in! You do an excellent job of patiently teaching.

I'm thinking a DPN in same size and needle brand and material will be much easier. Thanks for tbe video tutorial!
Thank you much!
Might as well take off the needle if possible and put a stopper on the end of the cable to prevent stitches from coming off. Or take a needle from another set.
But thank you for explaining everything😊
I'm knitting this as my first sweater❤
Merci, merci,merci
De rien, merci a toi!

Would you consider doing assist videos on Andrea Mowry’s “Pink Fizz” sweater?
Hi Judy, that one is not on our current make-a-long list, and making these videos for another sweater can be challenging- I made a video on that overall topic! Andrea Mowry might have some videos?
Would it be easier to use a DPN as your right hand needle?
That is a great idea :) ❤️
Child aran sweater would be Nice kal
Thanks for the suggestion Daniele! We have a lot of shared ideas, and I add them to my list, though we might not be able to get to them all.
