I ran out and picked up 2 US General ones. So I like the idea, and well I really liked the price. I do alot of different things, so it was like a small dedicated box for specific uses is what I was after. Like my laser cutter, I dont need many tools, just some allen keys, digi calipier ect. Well they really really need to be just a little bit deeper. Some of my stuff is the same thing as you trying to put in a small tapemeasure, my little allen key with a small screwdriver handle doesnt fit in there. My digi calipiers do fit but the drawers not being full extention mean its only 2/3rds of it come out. So Im fighting actually using them. For the $10 I paid for mine, good value but I would of really liked to pay $15 and have it be any bigger.
Who says these are useless? I never pay mind to the nay say haters for anything. Dunno them, no value or relevancy so no weight in their opinions so doesn’t rain on my days haha. In my diesel converted haul I built into a tiny house camping rig, I use the boxes to divide stuff on counter top, so red us gen has medical boo-boo stuff. White kobalt has small edc tool stuff. A folding knife from bench made, an arc tool from leather man, husky’s new admin 600L inspection light, red and black sharpie, a rite notepad, various pens, a British sas lighter my son once owned… green kobalt has art pens and pencils, have notebooks on top. Plenty useful to me. I mean I use the larger us gen boxes and colors for diff purposes. My gym all the rogue fitness stuff is red so is the sorinex gym stuff, so my boxes that hold small gym items or other stuff are all red. My sons gym is green so all his boxes and storage are that toxic green. His armory is made up of green boxes too haha. Stores his massive knife collection, watches, pew pews, various edged tools, in said boxes. He too uses the small ones to organize gear haha….
I have 2 on my electronics repair desk. Micro drivers, soldering tips, nozzles, solder, flux, sliders, and more. I also have 1 near my fab station in the garage (drill press, bench grinder, band saw, and other equipment). I keep the equipment tools, bits, small clamps and such. I hear machinists love them for their machine bits.

I want to see a really good use for them. They seem like cool things to keep watches or cufflinks in them.

I got pink one as XMas present for my GF to store here sewing stuff in...
I got one for my daughter, for her exploratory in auto mechanics for 9th grade. However, I knew she would use it for her makeup. 😂
