    The clinic we've been with is actively offering mitochondrial donation therapy within ivf packages. Like they try everything possible to keep the genetic relation of IP to the future baby. And if no luck - then only they ask the patients to turn to egg donation. Also the country is quite popular for surrogacy tourism. So the place's got variations in surrogacy programs as well. I personally think using donor's healthy active mitochondria in ivf with oe is a real breakthrough in reproductive field. I'd definitely tried this if only my own eggs weren't genetically damaged.

    This is super interesting...so why can't the fda approve allowing the same woman when she is younger take her mitochondria from her eggs and replace them when she is older just to see if this would work? Or would it not prove anything since it's the same woman's dna?

      Thank you for the info. I passed de ivf treatment in Ukraine. There the mitochondrial donation is allowed too. Moreover the clinic I've been with actively offers it within its ivf packages. Seems more and more people are turning to this option. No wonder why. If this route helps to keep the genetic link to a future baby, then why not to try it out?!! I'd definitely did it myself, But was unlucky enought to have my eggs diagnosed genetically damaged..It was another knock, so we went straight to donor egg route. Got successful after 2 shots.

    • @hunglee4451
      @hunglee4451 3 года назад +1

      It could be due to aging. When women are in their 40s (or earlier), egg quantity and quality declines, so that could make the cycle change and fluctuate.

    • @deborahdean8867
      @deborahdean8867 2 года назад

      Doubt it has anything to do with coq. At that age menopause begins. COq10 increases micro circulation

    • @Nana-uo2th

Third time 3 eggs 2 emberyos fertalized but stoppod developing so I dont think this is really works.

    • @CrystalM1917

      How much do you take? Ubiquinol is stronger form of co q 10 and you may also need mito pqq. Other supplements for egg quality are resveratrol, dhea, pycogenol, myo- inositol, melatonin, royal jelly, bee pollen etc. Lots of nutrients like folate, vitamin d, magnesium, zinc, vitamin c, omega 3, 6 fatty acids, herbs like aswagsnda and maca are good for hormone regulation and reduction of oxidative stress and inflammation.

    • @Nana-uo2th

    • @rebeccamiller3845
      @rebeccamiller3845 4 года назад +6

      You've got all chances I'm sure. Quantity means less than eggs quality. You may literally have 2-3 eggs but good enough to get fertilized and then develop into a super great embryo. Eggs are said to be healthier the younger the intended mom is. The best thing you can do is to discuss concerns with your GYN/fertility expert, pass all needed test to get the most accurate answers. Anyway there are LOTS of treatment options to use!! Sending my positive thoughts your way.
