You know, I felt that my off season plan (that I’m submitting to CTZ) was outlandish and weird but then I heard that last one and nvm, I feel great😂

    Great stuff. Good ideas.
Like Colton's lineup. It's Mariner doable. 25 to 30 Hr's at first with Raley/Turner. 25 Hr's at 2nd with Lowe. 25 to 30 Hr's at third with Burger or Westburg.
That lineup this past 2024 season would have put the Mariners in the playoffs.
Might try to go cheap at 2nd with Rivas, Bliss, Moore, as a lot of the top Mariner minor league prospects are 2 years away middle infielders. Instead
trade a top minor league prospect and more to the White Sox for Robert Jr. Another 30 homer type guy.
    A lineup of
    Robles lf
    Rodriquez cf
    Robert Jr rf
    Arozarena dh
    Raley/Turner lb
    Raleigh c
    Burger or Westburg 3b
    Crawford ss
    Rivas 2b
would be Mariner doable and scary. Very scary.

He will but he will likely start year in IL. But given the fact he is now throwing, don't be shocked he is back by the end of May. His rehab is becoming a best case scenario.

My offseason plan. Sign Hae-Song Kim, re-sign Turner, trade Leo Rivas, Dom Canzone, Johnny Farmelo, and Carlos Vargas for Alec Bohm.

  • @jamesbrausch9806
    @jamesbrausch9806 5 дней назад

Trade Castillo to the Red Sox for Yoshida and Abreu. Sign a Kim for third. Trade Garver, Haniger, and Raley (Robles too?) to the Guards for the Naylor Bros and Gimenez. (After a season or 2, trade Gimenez, because his contract balloons in 2027.)

Trade Julio to Toronto for glad Guerrero, mariners get a guy that hits for 6 months, Toronto gets a guy that hits for 2 months.👍👍

I have an offseason wish list/plan
    Sign Sasaki
    Sign Hyeseong Kim
    Trade 1:
Blue Jays get: Castillo, Haniger, Thornton, Locklear(#6), Morales(#13)
    Angels get: Bloss(#3), Saucedo,
    M's get: Guerrero, Joyce
    Trade 2:
White Sox get: Garver, Canzone, Petty(#8)
Reds get: Munoz, Rojas, Speier, Marlowe
Mariners get: Berroa, Lee, A. Diaz, Fraley, Santillan, Maxwell(#21)
    Trade 3:
    Cardinals get: Celesten(#5), Williamson(#15), Dollard(#21), Joyce(#23)
    Mariners get: Arenado+3m, Fernandez
    After these moves
    The rotation options:
    *Gilbert
    *Sasaki
    *Miller
    *Kirby
    *Woo
    Hancock
    Evans
    Bullpen options:
    Brash (IL)
    *Santos
    *Snider
    *Taylor
    *Voth
    *Chargois
    *Diaz
    *Joyce
    *Berroa
    Santillan
    Fernandez
    Maxwell
    Hitter options:
    *C Raleigh
    *C Lee
    *1B Guerrero
    *2B Kim
    *2B Young
    2B Bliss
    *SS Crawford
    SS Rivas
    *UT Moore
    UT Taylor
    *3B Arenado
    *OF Rodriguez
    *OF Arozarena
    *OF Robles
    *OF Raley
    *OF Fraley
The depth on this team's bullpen would be impressive. Even with Brash down most of the year, it can be dominant with Joyce, Santos, and Diaz in the backend.
The payroll would leave room for the arbitration guys and an extension of one of them and still fall in our salary range.
Nontendering Haggerty and Urias would save another 5m while allowing Turner and Polanco to stay gone cuts 15m from last years payroll.
If what we are told is true and the payroll does go up, even if only 5-10m, that gives the team roughly 30m for arbitration and extentions to be in our range. Very doable.

    • @nunyabizzy08
      @nunyabizzy08 6 дней назад

quite the plan, only problem is how much payroll thats gonna add to us, and how much less we would have to give sasaki/kim in order to take on arenado's contract even though castillo would free up space

    • @jeffnak5598
      @jeffnak5598 6 дней назад

@nunyabizzy08 Sasaki is capped like Ohtani originally was when he came over. He doesn't want to wait a couple of years to make Yamamoto money. He wants to establish himself now, which means it's the only star we could get for extremely cheap. Also, there are reports out of Japan that usually are accurate, that he doesn't want a big market like New York or LA, so we have a very good chance. Kim won't cost much either, like the guys said in this video, 4/26 is in the ballpark. This plan is exactly in our salary range.

Lost me at past his prime Arenado

    • @jeffnak5598
      @jeffnak5598 6 дней назад

@joshuasorrt8241 It doesn't matter if he isn't going to hit .300 and slug 35 hrs. Even .260 with 20 hrs with above average defense is very good. It's not bad to find a vet that is past their prime if they are still productive like Arenado. No team will have only young players.
