Tipp number 2: If you click on office or person you can see their satisfaction lvl on top right, yes - BUT. You constantly freak out if you do something and the satisfaction doesn't change. For that, look at the emoticon of the satisfaction and IF 1)you see a green arrow pointing upwards there - don't worry. 2) If the arrow is red and is pointing downwards - worry. A lot. 3) If no arrow is there - it's fine. But some other factor bothers them in case the emoticon is yellow.. Smell/noise/honey badgers. Tipp 3: Spreading out your building is CHEAPER that building floors on top of the building. Like so he can see.

okay, listen up. ive done some research. not only CAN you go to the left, you SHOULD go to the left. The higher you go, the more expensive the floors will become. Also, going to the left will increase the traffic. More people will walk past the restaurants, they will earn more money = they are happy. Jack, a few tips. Firstly put in all utilities before anything else (including the wires). Secondly, the higher paying offices are better as the profits outweigh the costs of the phone lines. Thirdly, don't put utility lines to the ends of halls, they only need to touch the room to power them. Fourthly, don't have dead space as dead space adds to your daily costs. Fifth, for utility production it's actually inefficient to use the smaller ones past a certain point, so use one medium in place of three smalls, etc.
yes, it is, with hotel management, from what i understand, is managing short term guests whereas office management, requires you to know long-term profits and expenses. With a Hotel you already plan to have a certain number of guests, however an office building usually gets renovated because more people want to work in said office building. So they end up spending more money (in the long-term to get more money). With a hotel everything they plan for is already built (most of the time) and most renovations happen at ground level where there aren't any guests (usually hotels have rooms at floor 2+). TL;DR it's all complicated but it's very different
you are a hundred percent wrong about renovations at a hotel. i work at a hotel and if they are going to renovate they renovate the entire building. just renovating the lobby would cause guests to complain that the lobby looks more well kept than their own rooms.

Same applies with the buzz but instead you buy these 24 advantages. You can view what your people need and want by pressing on the place and hovering over the i for info. You can also view where their satisfaction is going by the arrow next to the emoji. You should have both water and gas and electricity, phone, and tv vertical connectors on each floor, you'll need them later in the game. You should for now put stuff in a little at a time since you are short on money and also you only have 2 construction workers. Expanding your place wider is better than building up, you won't have the expense of the elevator. Jack, don't worry there will definitely be way more than 200 people in your building. :)
just leave room for stuff outside like walkways and decorations. it's part of the later gameplay. Also put in stairs as alternative to elevators to help with downtime due to breakdowns.

jack, you need to put in a stairwell so you aren't entirely f**k-a-ducked when an elevator goes bad. Also when you build a new restaurant where you trashed the old one, try to look for one that serves all three breakfast, lunch, and dinner, or just lunch and dinner. And build a floor and put another string of restaurants there because the ground floor one is great, but people will get crankier the further they have to go up or down for their starbucks or what have you. (i'm speaking in terms of real-life, i don't actually have experience with the game) TL;DR need stairs, need a restaurant that serves dinner, and build another "food court floor" or 2 and alternate with the offices. I'm really interested in how far this series can go, keep at it Jack
Hey Jack, did you know people are making Jacksepticeye voice overs for movies and games, I recently found some and they're pretty good. Kinda like the animations only with licensed videos, (not an add, just an opinion)
Jack, the construction workers will build floors in the order they were put down, so because you put down the floors closer to the elevators last, they were completed last. Also, the same applies for offices and rooms, but all the offices and rooms will be completed before any of the floors. Also, you really shouldn't worry about anyone moving out because there will always be more people to move in. Also, after a while they will always think that 100% rent is too much, and if this is the case, you can adjust individual sliders for the one office so that all of that type of room is not paying less, only the one room is.
Couldn't you just wait a couple days out so that you can make money back for more expansion? It'll make the viewing more boring but it'll make the game a lot easier for you.
either that or budget your days. Figure out the rough amount it takes to add phone and electrical lines to floors and keep to that amount each day so you don't spend more than your earning.

if you have more than 3 electrical closets you are better of building 1 large one wich is cheaper and supplies more power. also make you building wider its really skinny ;)

In the optimized scheme, you need 6 phone line sections to connect all. If you do it sorted as one level of accounting and 2 levels of insurance offices, you need 10 phone line sections. But again, this only works if partial coverage of supply lines is sufficient to provide the service. If you have to cover the full width, then your current, sorted floor layout is better, because then, for three floors, you need 13 phone line sections to wire up the single dedicated floor, but 15 sections if you connect one accounting office per mixed floor.

in my years of playing Sim Tower back when I was a kid... the thing I learned was, you are better off spending all your money at once, building the entire thing in one go(before the end of one day), than dragging it out and only building what you need/want when you need/want it.
Jack, for ground/above-ground floors, each floor can only be as wide as the floor below it. Widen your ground floor and you can widen the floors above it. For below-ground floors, a floor can be as wide as the floor above it. Widen your B1 level, and you can widen any floors below that. (Up to the max your lot size allows)
Jack when you're waiting for something to happen and just watching the screen, please zoom in more, it's hard to see what's going on and gets boring. Also can you check satisfaction more often so we can see how things are going?

I found some science, if you make an empty floor area underground glass with the wallpaper tool(-1 floor or the floor with the pipe) The pipe is behind the building!!

Jack, for ground/above-ground floors, each floor can only be as wide as the floor below it. Widen your ground floor and you can widen the floors above it. For below-ground floors, a floor can be as wide as the floor above it. Widen your B1 level, and you can widen any floors below that. (Up to the max your lot size allows)

I like that one door underground that just leads to a pipe. Just makes me think of a guy going to that floor and open the door just to flood the whole building in water!
I found some science, if you make an empty floor area underground glass with the wallpaper tool(-1 floor or the floor with the pipe) The pipe is behind the building!!
