      At this point, I’m trying to use it up because it’s not a product that I love by itself and it does not play well with others. But I’m glad I can help you use yours up as well if it isn’t working for you either 😂.

    Your texture is so consistent throughout so I think it comes out pretty good no matter what you use. When I do wash and go's the definition is so inconsistent. I think braid outs and twist outs work better for my hair. Right now I'm using kinky curly wigs lol.

      I have some failures for sure, but for the most part they do turn out decent. I love to see a good braid out.

    Can you use the Camilla curl milk with the curl maker? I love the curl milk and I pair it with Shea moisture curly gel soufflé because I don’t really like the curl maker. Can you also try Quai Detox shampoo it’s my favorite and I use it once a month

      I’ve used the curl milk before with the curl maker, and it flaked on me. It’s in a video a while back in my Wash and Go playlist. Thank you for the suggestion! I’ll put that on my list.

    The definition....LAWD😂. Do you think that you got the definition from the 'as I am curling jelly ' alone ? I am looking for a base gel which enhances my kinks' definition. I struggle with UFD curly magic, which I don't want to repurchase as I don't like to spend too much effort to make a product work. FYI my topper is jello shot , which freezes the frizz on my hair type( which I like to call 'definition digger'😂)

    How do you trim your hair?

    • @BrittanyMia
      @BrittanyMia  Год назад +2

      I don’t trim it myself, I get it done by my stylist. I’m afraid I’ll ruin the shape and potential take too much off if I do it myself.

    You are soo beautiful!! I am on an epic fail for wash and gos. I just can't seem to find the right products. It's either very defined but flaky and then dry the next day, or it's super moisturized and frizzy. I am on the struggle bus for real. 😢

    • @BrittanyMia
      @BrittanyMia  Год назад +1

      Thank you! I’m curious, what product combinations are you using?

    • @asiadelgado3733
      @asiadelgado3733 Год назад

      @@BrittanyMia I have tried UFD mainly as my base with curl maker, wetline, this gel from nature's little secret called their okra gel. I have tried kinky curly, but a while back. I do my wash and gos in the shower just like you, and I was thinking is it my technique or the wrong products. My technique is shampoo twice, deep condition, detangle then apply leave in then an oil because I don't know how to keep my wash and gos moisturized without applying an oil to seal in the leave in. Then, I apply my gels on soaking wet hair and rake them in. When I don't use an oil, my wash and gos are so dry the next day, defined but dry and flaky. When I use the oil, my hair is moisturized but frizzy. I think it may be that the oil may be the issue. I am still new to wash and gos, so maybe it's my technique? I am really not sure.

    • @BrittanyMia
      @BrittanyMia  Год назад +2

      @@asiadelgado3733 I used to use an oil to lock in my leave it as well, but that could very well be the culprit of the frizz. I understand the feeling of dry hair, but your hair may just be dehydrated and you may have to hydrate your hair or reset your hair every few days in order to get that moisture retention that you want.
      It can take a while to get your technique down, but I suggest taking smaller sections and really working the base gel or leave in into your hair before moving onto the next section. Since you do your hair in the shower, it’s a lot easier to get each section thoroughly wet before applying the products and I suggest detangling a bit before applying the product in order to make sure that the product really gets into your hair strands. Hopefully this helps but you keep me updated.

    • @asiadelgado3733
      @asiadelgado3733 Год назад

      @@BrittanyMia thank you so much for the advice. I am going to cut the oil out and just reset my hair. I usually wash my hair every 4 to 5 days because I have a very sensitive scalp. Honestly, I have only been finger detangling because I am so afraid of tools, but I saw your last video when you used the Denman brush (I think that is what its called) and I think that may also be a issue with my hair being frizzy as well, I don't think just finger detangling is getting all the products worked through. I am washing my hair tomorrow, and I will definitely keep you updated. Your wash and gos are so bomb, and I am hoping I can get to that point, too. I really don't mind having to reset as long as I can get it looking good. Mine have truly been a mess, but I love my natural curl pattern and want to wear it more in wash and gos. Thank you so much for your input. I really appreciate your videos because I thought with my hair texture I couldn't do wash and gos but seeing your hair which is very similar to mine gives me a lot of hope. I am also a very determined person, so I am definitely not giving up until I have tried it all and got it down. Take care and have a good day :)

    • @asiadelgado3733

      @@BrittanyMia I took your advice and detangled and did smaller sections, which helped so greatly. This is something that I found another youtuber, which is what I have not been doing at all. I was not using enough products in each section. I was literally taking like a dime size amount for each section and working it through my hair. Why did I not think about using more product. I was using less than the bare minimum. SMH. I am grateful to have found your channel and seen the other video, too. I redid my hair about 20 minutes after I first set (which was very frizzy) and added way more product to each section, and now it looks bomb!! Thank you so much for your advice!! The detangling tool I used was amazing, and it helped so much!! ❤️❤️
