    Great drive test. How do you rate the dynamics of this engine 2.0 165 hp in AT when overtaking on the highway above 120 km / h. He's not lacking in power? It is probably not very dynamic anymore.

    • @ShaggyRVW
      @ShaggyRVW  3 года назад +4

      Thanks. At a higher speed it feels like it's missing a lot of power and torque. I think I'm used to the 2020 Nissan Qashqai. The Qashqai has 270Nm and this Mazda has 213Nm. It's a bit hard to overtake someone because he's lacking in power above 120 km/h, but it's livable.

    • @pawem3907
      @pawem3907 3 года назад

       @ShaggyRVW Thanks for answer. That makes me worried a bit but the other hand I`m not F1 driver. Sport button on position ON and maybe overtaking is possible :) Your`s drive shows that it is possible to drive quite dynamic with this car. What is fuel consumption at speed nearly 120 -140 km/h ?

    • @fy6633
      @fy6633 3 года назад +4

      @@pawem3907 fuel consumption is terrible trust me i went with this car for a roadtrip on vacation made about 8000km in 1 month and it was a pain in the ass always lack of power downhill on highway it won't past 145km/h and that is full throttle and on highway hills we always needed to shift to 5th gear and we were stuck going 100km/h because the car didn't had power and on mountain roads with hills we needed to shift to 1th gear otherwise the car wouldn't pull and fuel consumption on 130km/h is like 9 liters i believe

    • @ShaggyRVW
      @ShaggyRVW  3 года назад

      True, I had the car for 3 hours. But most of the time I drove very sportively and on the highway, I drove above 120km/h. I managed around 8,5-9,0 L/100km.

      @@ShaggyRVW you are all missing the point. The purpose of this car is not to go fast. Naturally aspirated engine on an SUV with automatic transmission? Was it AWD? I think does fair enough. I would go for a manual instead, specially with this engine.

    Yo man for long term reliability, would you vouch for cx5?
    Im undecided between 2017 mercedes C180 vs 2018 cx5 just want a car with some lux feeling and reliability.

    • @ShaggyRVW
      @ShaggyRVW  2 года назад +1

      I would say the Mazda CX-5. I've never driven the Mercedes c180, that's why I can't give you a great answer.
      I own a mazda 3 from 2006. With almost 150k kilometers on it. Never had any big issues with it so in my experience mazdas are reliable.
      I think the mercedes has a bit more luxurious feeling, especially with the amg line. I hope you can use this information for your own choice. Thanks for watching :)

      I hope you got the Mazda brother . Mercedes is too overpriced these days . Yes you get little more luxury but not as much quality as in the Mazda.
      Mazda Cx-5 2.5 non turbo is one of the best and most reliable cars this past 10 years.

      I was kinda disappointed.. it's still missing power(torque I think). I drove this car alone and I don't know what to expect when it's fully packed🤣 I'm used to drive a 2021 Qashqai and that car has definitely more power. But man, this cx5 looks so good. Thanks for watching :)
