Kendrick was always a better rapper. Drake makes records for a wider audiences.
When Drake got beat by Push he was able to hide behind his industry friends and the fact that push had a small fanbase. Plus he was able to redirect the energy to Ye, who everyone hated at the time. In this current situation Drake doesn’t have many industry friends left and the ones he does have are compromised. In 2024 it’s essentially drake fanbase vs everybody else. There’s also no one to make a scapegoat this time around. Drake has never dealt with adversity under these circumstances. Besides that Kdot has exposed Drake weaknesses and has shown he can match drake’s strengths.
