    Honestly didn’t really how much force your putting into load cells. Find the heel and ball of my feet aching often may get these.

    I upgraded from T-LCM pedals to the Fanatec Inverted V3s and I needed shoes or something other than socks because they were hurting my feet.
    I ordered the Sim Hound Shoes and did encounter a slight delay because my package was lost, I contacted them amd they had A+ customer service, they waved the shipping cost amd were in constant communication via E-mail with me up until the shoes arrived.
    The shoes are great, thin, breathable, light and very comfortable. My foot feels better not and I can use the proper force when driving.
    Great shoes, I use them daily they are almost 1 year old and they are still like new.
    They do have a little funky smell from the long sessions but nothing some foot odor spray doesn't fix.
    I highly recommend these of socks just are not cutting it any more.
    You don't even notice your wearing them when driving, but if you go to log some laps with out them you will notice your inputs are much different than while wearing the shoes.

    At 30 quid these are over priced. I paid £7 (including postage) for Hot Tuna beach/surf shoes from Ebay which look identical a month or so ago and do an excellent job. Definately worth a look for less than the price of a decent pair of socks.

      @@pt4635 I just bought a pair of hot tuna today but I found my feet kept slipping up the gas pedal on-off throttle: each time I apply gas the grip of the shoe will pull my heel closer to the pedal as well. Have you experienced something similar? I am using TLCM pedal.

    • @pt4635
      @pt4635 2 года назад

      @@michaelmak866 I've not had that personally, but I guess that could depend on the angle of the pedals and what the pedal plates are made from. I have the Fanatec CSL pedals with the standard plastic plates, and my pedals are raised towards me, so there are almost pointing straight up.

      Hey, we are sorry you’ve been unlucky but we have had stock coming in regularly throughout the past year.
      We do work hard to keep up with demand and had good stock levels from September through to Christmas.
      We currently have them available to order on pre purchase with the stock due in the next few weeks. This way you can secure your gloves and shoes and save 10% in the process 😃

    I've refused to let anyone wear shoes on my rig since I got it together. Unfortunately it doesn't feel as good in just socks but it's kept everything nice and clean. I've looked a few times at racing boots/shoes and just couldn't justify the price. Wouldn't mind a pair of these just to have a dedicated shoe, as after a few hours of running, my feet tend to hurt lol. But I might look into the beach shoes as an alternative as well.

    The Heel design is poor, needs to go up the back of your foot at least another 20mm. Your heel ends up sitting on the ridge between the sole and upper, and it moves around.

    I ordered a NEW T-LCM set on Amazon last Thursday. When I got them today they sent a used T-LCM set without the extra springs and accessories. But before putting them back in the box to be sent back for a replacement I used them for two hours on GT7 .
    What I will have to get used to is the long travel of the brake because with my CSR Elite pedals there was a very short travel in the brake pedal.
    Whoever had them before had the black springs on the brake pedal and it felt almost as stiff as the CSR Elite pedals I have but with a whole lot more travel.
    After a few races though the pedals felt so much better than my d CSR Elite pedals and I was able to control the car way better than before.

    • @mrj3217

      The Fanatec V3 inverted pedals I just upgraded to from the T LCM pedals are 1000 times better all around man.
      I just got the DD 8 NM, inverted V3 pedals and the T LCMs are toys.
      Not being a jerk but I never knew what I was missing.
      They allow your to control the throttle so damm well and the breaks feel real .

    • @Steve30x
      @Steve30x Год назад

      @@mrj3217 I had Fanatec CSR Elite pedals with years before I got the T-LCM pedals. They were better than the T-LCM but the break pedal was on its last legs which is why I changed them. Plus I was using a badhetboard adapter to connect them to my T300.
      I had a bad experience with fanatec customer support years ago when they were selling the Porsche wheel based. So I swore I would never buy another fanatec wheelbase again.
      Also I'm sure my Playseat Challenge would shake itself apart if I put an 8 base on it 😂

    I ordered a pair of this shoes after seeing some reviews on RUclips (yours included), and they are good because the sole is thin and they are fast and easy to get into BUT :
    - they are not really adapted to a formula style position, the rubber at the back of the heel is not going up as much as I need (my calves are almost horizontal in my seat) so the heel is not as comfortable as it can be as it rests much more on the back
    - because of the precedent point, the part around the heel rubber on my left foot is already showing wear signs after one week of use
    - last but not least, I just found shoes on Amazon that have the EXACT SAME sole and shape as this ones (they really look the exact same, instead of the piece of fabric on the top with the Sim Hound logo and the honeycomb texture look ; I tried to put a link here but my comment were removed because of it) and they cost 3 times less than what I've paid.
    So, paying 3 times the price for a piece of fabric added on top with the brand logo on it makes me grit.
    TL;DR : I'm bothered that I've paid 3 time the price for the same shoes found on Amazon
