This area has been a sliding nightmare for many decades and every last person that lives there knew what they were getting into. Yet, not a single resident has ever blamed anyone for their loss.
@@scottg391 well it seems like a lot of the residents have complained about the gas and electric companies shutting down utilities when necessary in order to not cause a major accident. I would see that as a complaint, and many of them.

I thought the construction of Hawthorne was blamed as a trigger for the land movements in PB?

The stable home is next door to this and on the market now. It has had land movement. Selling it for $1.5 million.
It will move in the future. This section of land in the penisula is unstable.
This is why you buy land further east, it will become coastal property soon.
