- After a brief hiatus on the high seas, Dilly has returned with tales from his time away and newly reinforced fears for the future of humanity. As a good screen printing podcast does, we do eventually talk shop, this time with Alex Haug of Twin City Tees. A lifer by trade, our discussion naturally begs the question: Was it all worth it? Topics of discussion include: Prepping, interfering with production, personal sacrifices for business gains, covering customer mistakes, customer phone calls, having a sense of accomplishment, and shirt forums.

ALEX FOR PREZ 2024!
WOOOO! Love to see Alex and TCT! Amazing company filled with amazing people!
I'm glad you're back, Dilly!! Solid episode, boys. Thanks for helping me imagine a forklift falling through a basement this Monday morning! I will only jump on a phone call if I absolutely have to. I had a customer talking for over an hour last week about very minimal things. I'm grateful I sold the job, but that was gnarly.
haha. Glad to be back!

Hey guys.. My two cents on the issue with Andy's customer especially if they are a good customer and not usually problematic... I would absolutely call them and let them know what happened (so they have the opportunity to correct things on their side) and simply tell them we aren't going to bill you this time but in the future we will need to. Certain customers will thank you and others will offer to pay you for the loss so there is a remote chance to get paid and if not they are aware of the problem and can fix it. Either way you maintain your rep for fairness. It makes no sense to just be quiet and keep it moving (even though really it is half your fault for not catching it before burning screens) because you can't resolve a problem you aren't aware of.
Nice, I like it.
