I’ve searched the internet, used AI, and could not find a good definition. So, I created one. And I stick to it almost religiously! I define wild camping as follows: (1) spending the night and sleeping outside a campground or other place approved for camping, in a temporary and mobile shelter such as a tent, a camper-van, or RV, etc. (2) as a recreational activity.
