    Men. Great stuff, I've watched all your CQB vids. Please do more CQB door vids with commercial style self closing doors, with windows and without. I'm a team leader for church security and every door in our building is self closing. Thanks for your work on this stuff.

    Great video! I would be interested to see you cover stairwells/staircases, especially assaulting upwards and if the stairwell is open and exposing to move on.

    Can you guys talk about negotiating doors with returns? A lot of businesses, industrial, schools, etc. have return doors, which present a unique challenge. We just ran some room clearing training and were working different ways to deal with them, and I'd love to see some commentary from you guys on the subject.

    I’d really appreciate a video, or just a segment, dedicated to breaking down the pros & cons of high-man/low-man. My unit (army infantry) uses that technique a lot to negotiate corners in hallways, corridors in trenches, pretty much any linear/channelizing architecture… but… It makes me nervous. You touched on high/low in this video, but I think y’all should dedicate some more time to it. It’s a super popular technique in the Army, but I’d like to hear y’all’s perspective on it.
    Thanks, guys.
    God Bless
    Deo Gratias!

    17:00 just curious, what about standing off to the side, reaching over tor crack the door open but not swing then get back out of the way. Letit breathe for a moment to see if anyone inside reacts, then reaching over with the muzzle of your gun on top of the doorknob to pull it open

    Some units put the door opener on the hinge side in split entry formation. Obviously you are exposing your arm and a little bit of your other body parts infront of the door for a second. Is this a method that you would try to avoid completely?

    Yo Boyz. Love your stuff and performance..or otherwise its the only english spoken stuff i can understand, coz u speak speak and more "oxford" english. i am no native speaking american. Q: From where did u get that FBI data stuff about when and why cops get shoot? my collegues throw evil laughters at me when i tell that, and say its out of my fantasy..and...this Video contains some really good streetwise thoughts. CQB isnt 100% safe-use what u have- use it with brain. there is no solution for every scenario. act principal based..uhh where are the stone plates to scratch that stuff in? ^^ ..amazing work. on of the best Door Videos

    Also, I've gone through some active shooter response recently that advocated more for being on the "non-tactical" side of the door, especially on a self breach or single officer response. Pretty much, not exposing yourself to that first peek while you're still trying to get two hands back on your gun. So on a push door, approaching form the knob side, and a pull door, on the hinge side, to allow you that extra stand off time to get your weapon back up, let it breathe, and then doing your pan/pie across. What are your thoughts on this?

    • @oriontraininggroupllc2782
      @oriontraininggroupllc2782  5 месяцев назад

      It should not take you that long to get back on your gun. Fixing a problem that doesn’t really exist.
